“Visited Grindhouse for a quick bite and a coffee to avoid the usual big chains that you can't move for falling over. Friendly staff and service. Had scrambled eggs on sour-dough and I have to say - eggs are easy to get completely wrong and I was very happy that these were completely right! The coffee was also very, very good. My better half had the French toast and reported that it was "very nice" (high praise!) and just the right amount not to make you feel like Jabba the Hutt.”

“One of the most unspoken things about any cafe is the level of service. Today I was served by Jodie. She was upbeat, smiling and an absolute example of how to show up to a customer. “I really feel for these guys because they do a great job and the food is amazing but I can't see it lasting with the prices. I know it's good quality and better for you but realistically, it's £11.50 for a little prep box or £5.00 for a kebab or pizza next door. When people go out for dinner during work they don't wanna be spending that much when there are much cheaper options. Like I said it's a shame because it's great stuff but way too over priced for dinnertime at work lol”
