“I want to say thank you to Doug for a fantastic recovery for me and I couldn’t recommend Doug and the Altius team enough. I had what originally was seen as a groin injury by the original physio I went to that I got playing football. I ended up at 2 different physio organisations that weren’t Altius, went through 6-8 week groin recovery treatment both times but the issue didn’t go away either time. I went to Doug and Altius and it turned out I had a torn adductor and also a double hernia. Doug put a plan to put a focus on repairing the adductor first, then have surgery on the hernias followed by physio recovery of the hernias surgery. The recovery program was very focussed on building things up, not pushing past where things were ready and ultimately rebuilding strength, flexibility at the right pace. I went from thinking I was probably never going to play football again at times during the injury recovery to now having been back playing for 4 months and have no limitations around mobility and feel great playing again. Very professional, clear on the recovery processes and confident that things would get back to normal after time which helped with my belief about getting back playing again. L”

“In 2015, after visiting 10 nurseries for our daughter we chose Canterbury Rd Day Nursery and we were very happy with our decision. The rooms, staff, play areas and management were and are excellent. Each day you receive a 'report' of what your child has done and now there is the online portal Capture where you see pictures and updates about your child plus you can upload your own too. There are 2 cooks that deliver healthy and varied meals with seasonal changes. There are regular events held at the nursery or local hall and parents evening twice a year. My daughter loved it there and now so does my son. If you are looking for a nursery for your child then I would highly recommend choosing Canterbury Rd.”

“I signed up to the 4 week beginners course with Jane and have completed week 2 this week, as a intro to Yoga this is perfect, explanations of the practice, breathwork and benefits are covered in detail and Jane adapts movements if needed. I felt a difference in my body and mind after the first session and cant wait to continue my yoga journey xx”

“Shelly managed to fit me in last minute on a Saturday afternoon after the salon I was booked to go to let me down. I expected a bit of a simple, quick service being later but Shelly was friendly, listened to what kind of style I like and took her time. The result was lovely, and such a contrast to my previous experience at the other salon. All the ladies there seem to genuinely help each other, and created a lovely atmosphere. “My son attended LSC Thorn Grove for a multisports holiday club and it was the first time he's ever been to any kind of summer camp provision before. He absolutely loved it and raved about trying out all the different sports. It was a great introduction to some new sports like dodgeball and cricket and he learned a lot. There were lots of other children there from his reception class which I think really helped. We'll be booking him in this summer for a few days too.”

“Our daughter started at Fisherfield Nursery last September after receiving many recommendations from other parents. She has done a full year there now and we couldn't recommend it enough. She settled in wonderfully, and we feel so reassured by the care and attention she receives. The staff are approachable and accommodating, always ready to address any questions we have. It's been lovely to receive daily updates, including photos of her happily participating in various activities. We have also had the opportunity to spend time with her in nursey during special events that they have held. She is thriving, and it’s clear that the nursery provides a nurturing and engaging environment for her to do so.”
