βInitial swim school is an amazing place to learn to swim or keep up the practice. The instructor are patient and knowledgeable and help you with every step until your comfortable. The swimming pool is a good length and the environment is good.β
βMy two daughters aged 6 and 10 have been attending School of Sport holiday clubs since last year. They both love it so much that they have attended whole weeks, even though they only needed to attend for a couple of days. The girls love the range of different activities that they do at the holiday clubs and they have been so happy when they have been awarded βStar of the Weekβ. Ryan and Sophie are really helpful and great with the kids, as are all the other staff. Fantastic holiday club at a very reasonable price.β
βSt Margaret's is a very good school with a great head teacher and great staff. The children all seem happy and you can always talk to teachers and the head. My children have particularly liked being involved with the music (drums, guitar and a rock band) and art with a professional artist.β
βGreat football pitches, parking can be tight but there's also a school car park across the road from it.β
βEasy to get to. It's Philips school. Son had a basketball match here, floor is concrete though. Ouchβ
βI would regard it as the best experience of my life, the one that had transformed me into what I'm today. I felt so welcome since the first day to the last. The players, the coaches and the staffs were very supportive and friendly. The organization is run very professionally and the coaches are well qualified with a high degree of reputation. All players are treated equally which motivates the players to work hard and strive to bridge the gaps between themselves. There is a healthy competition that results in the growth of oneself as well as everyone around him. They molded me into a tough, competitive and a highly skilled individual. It was a fantastic learning curve and they instilled in me the fighting footballing brain. The knowledge gained was immense and that gave me a tremendous amount of self confidence. The training sessions were such fun that I miss them every single day since I left MIFA. If given an opportunity, I would love to go back there not just because of football, but because MIFA is a family.β
βI'm a big fan of sports and leisure centres, and I've been to a few in my time. But I have to say that New Hall Village Sports and Leisure Centre is one of the best I've ever been to. It's got everything you could possibly want in a sports and leisure centre, and more. The facilities are top-notch. There is ample parking available. But what really makes it stand out is the staff. They're all really friendly and helpful, and they're always happy to answer any questions you have. They also make a real effort to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere, which is something I really appreciate. Overall, I would highly recommendβ
βAwesome school that harnesses the sportsmanship in little ones. Visited here for the annual sports award ceremony. Was invited by my niece who received an award. Super proudβ
βFantastic sporting venue. It could do with a few more parking spacesβ
βExcellent sports facilities mainly focussed around football and always enjoyable to visit.β
βYoga is my best part of all exercisesβ
βThis is one place where you can come alive, the breath of fresh air while watching the sports activities. I love the inclusivity. They have a team for physically challenged teenagers and kids. They come with their carers or families, and it is an amazing sports center to get on a sports team. And yes! Pets are allowed in. There are no seats here, but u can always come with one.β

I had a tour of this place and in-depth tour and was very impressed from Dance Studio to outside turf area indoor fully sized gym basketball court inside upstairs definitely worth popping over..β
βFrom the moment we walked through the doors, Tiny Steps has exceeded all of our expectations! The staff made us feel welcome, supported, and confident in the care they provide. The nurturing environment, thoughtful curriculum, and genuine love shown to the children have been outstanding. Our child has grown emotionally, socially, and intellectually during their time here. Each day is filled with engaging activities, outdoor play, and lots of learning through fun. The staff are not only professional and well-trained, but also warm, approachable, and truly invested in each childβs development. What sets this nursery apart is the level of individual attention and care. The communication with parents is excellent β we always feel informed and included. Most importantly, our child is excited to go every morning and comes home smiling and full of stories. Weβre incredibly grateful to have found such a wonderful place. Highly recommended to any parent looking for a safe, caring, and enriching start to their childβs early years.β
βWe came here for an open evening... Ofsted Outstanding school and the staff seem to be doing an amazing job.β
βFantastic school. really enjoyed my years here. Made lots of friends and the teachers were always really goodβ
βI am delighted to share my exceptional experience with Martenscroft Nursery School, an establishment that truly stands out in providing a nurturing environment for our little ones. From cleanliness to professionalism, this nursery excels in every aspect. The heart of any successful nursery lies in its staff, and at Martenscroft Nursery School, the team is nothing short of amazing. Romessa, Salma, Jo, Lucy, Fatimah, Cathy, Maragaret, Jane, all staff are great. Their dedication to the well-being and development of the children is evident in every interaction. The staff members not only love children but also exude a passion for fostering their growth. Their warmth and genuine care create a positive atmosphere that puts both parents and children at ease. Aditionally, they have an expansive space provided for the children to play, both indoors and outdoors. The thoughtfully designed play areas offer a variety of activities that cater to the diverse interests and developmental needs of the children. I truly recommend Martenscroft to other parents seeking an exemplary nursery experience for their children. And note that they have a long wait list.β
βSurprised there's any negative reviews on here, Huw and the team are brilliant, honest from the start and responsive throughout. I've gone through a few cowboys in this sector but Teejac are a cut above.β
βI used to go to lady barn and it was good and I left in year6 the teachers are goodβ
βIt was and still is a great schoolβ
βFarrowdale House Preparatory school is an excellent school with a brilliant learning environment. Kaizen-Do Karate is lucky to teach our LIFESKILL & Character Development programme at the school to many of its students. The students are always well behaved and show Respect and Discipline in all the sessions. The staff are nice and approachable. What really stands out though is that as soon as you walk through the doors you can feel a nice 'family' environment. For any parents considering to enrol their children into the school I genuinely believe they will not be disappointed.β
βGreat Primary school in the Hart of the local community.β
βChapel Street Primary School is an exceptional school with exceptionally dedicated staff. Children are very welcoming and very ambitious. I had great pleasure to work with the staff to help them create a curriculum that matters. During my time at the school I had the opportunity to see the great improvements children had made in their learning. Year 6 children working on the circulatory system were fired up by what they had learned with one boy going on to research the part the brain plays in ensuring the heart remains healthy. Younger children studying the digestive system were fascinated to learn about what happens to their food. The way the staff support this enquiry based learning is a joy to observe. This is a school that is going places, ensuring that children are not just learning but that they are improving their long-term memory. In other words, they are very much into making a difference through improving the knowledge the children will take with them for the rest of their lives.β
