“The food here was so good! I’ve tried a few Greek places recently and they were a bit of a letdown, but this might honestly be the best Greek spot I’ve been to. Everything was delicious and fresh. Kosta and the team were super nice — we even had a great chat while waiting for our food. You can really tell they care about what they do. Highly recommend!”

“I have been ordering from Domino's - Eccles for the past three years. Let me tell you this - whoever is building these pizzas isn't playing. I customise my own with 5 or 7 toppings. Usually, when you do this in other places, the pizza guys are very scarce about the toppings - one or two olives here, two or three green peppers there, and if you look closely you might find the extra mushroom you've paid for. But not Domino's Eccles. Just see the pictures attached - these have been taken at different times, from different pizzas. The toppings are abundant, the pizza always arrives hot and fresh, I have never had an issue with these people before but I have had with other places. So I don't understand the bad reviews. But take it from someone who loves their pizza - it's worth it.”

“After moving to Manchester, we’ve never found somewhere that does authentic Chinese takeaway food that isn’t super overpriced until TODAY. Delicious food, big portions (be aware of big portions as we ended up with so much food) We ordered on Friday night and the food was ready quicker than expected and still very hot when we got home. We highly recommend crispy duck pancakes and sweet & sour chicken. 10/10 customer service, greeted by a very friendly lady at the shop and we had a quick chat. It was so lovely finding out that we’re supporting a small family owned business. We will definitely be back.”

“I've used Green Light motors for 6 years now. I was recommended I'd go there from a MOT station in Trafford Park after my van required some work. The prices are reasonable and the work that's been done to my vans, past and present, has been great. You won't see advertisements for this company because it's reputation has been built on honesty and hardwork. I personally purchased a van from one of the gang there after my old van had corrosion issues and the new van is a dream to drive. 5 Star reviews are given out too easily these days but not to the crew at Greenlight Motors. I'd personally like to say thanks to Paul, Pat and Danielle for keeping a look out over my vans for the last few years and keeping me safe on the roads. Cheers!”

“My son has been learning the electric guitar at The Music Shed for over two years. The teaching is absolutely first class and he is now a very accomplished musician. He plays in one of their many bands, which has increased his confidence, team working skills and playing ability massively. The school is run by Dave and Dawn who work tirelessly to give all students the best possible learning opportunities and organise events, gigs and radio appearances to showcase what they can do. Perhaps most importantly, the school has a family feel and takes its role in the community very seriously. It is inclusive of all backgrounds and works with children, young people and adults with disabilities. The school has had a huge impact on the community in Eccles and Salford. I can't speak highly enough about the school - you won't find a better place in Salford to learn a musical instrument or take vocal lessons.”

The last barber looked out of his depth asked what I wanted, in a barber shop! " A haircut " I replied. " Do you want it layered and that"! cause you will have to go to a stylist, I`m not messing about with scissors. !!! I promptly left before he could mess about with anything. A happy ending to this sad tale -- I found KINGS BRITISH BARBER SHOP, a REAL barber! A great cut, this man is a professional, confident no messing about knew exactly what to do, I am delighted with the cut the polite service, and the pensioner rate £££, not the 10 I have been paying. I will go again and would recommend.”

“We ordered funeral flowers from Carol as we had recently received a sympathy arrangement through her and had been really impressed by the freshness of the flowers. The photo shows the flowers two weeks later- like a slow explosion. Carol has since told us that her flowers are fresh in every day. Carol was very kind and helpful when we made the order and the funeral arrangement is gorgeous. We recommend Carol’s florist to everyone.”

“Best place in monton. Lovely vibe, lovely people, gorgeous power bowls and soup. The best coffee in the area. We've had some brilliant nights here like the comedy nights, rum and reggae night and the quiz. Very cosy and welcoming.”

“A wonderful pub with fantastic food. Been here a few times and it never disappoints. The owners /staff are attentive and very welcoming. They have a great variety of beers, spirits and authentic Japanese sake and gins etc and also green tea, coffee for the non beer drinkers. Food is excellent and reasonably priced. I’ve taken a few friends and family here and they’re bowled over with the food. My Japanese friend have said it’s the best tempura she has had in the UK. Looking forward to the expansion to the beer garden in the back as well.”

“Just taken my car in to have a new handle fitted. While other garages didn't want to know and quoted me ridiculous prices, Clifford St motors were extremely helpful. They ordered the part, asked me to drop the car off at 9 and by 10 the job was finished and all for a reasonable price. I know where I will be going when anything else needs doing! 5 stars from me!”

Clive was very helpful in co-ordinating the electrician to fit a new fuse board and change a few broken sockets around the house - all at very reasonable prices. He also introduced us to a good waste disposal company and plumber too. He is clearly a professional and well connected! We really like our new kitchen and can't wait to use it.
