“The staff is lovely and taught me a lot about Manchester. They truly seemed to care about the food quality and were very friendly and conversational. The food is fresh and the afternoon tea is worth every pence (also very affordable compared to other afternoon teas). It's a lot of food too!”

“Wonderful place for breakfast especially if staying at the Crown Plaza, as we have several times. Not only is the food great, the ambience and decor is charming with its plants and each table having an old fashioned glass milk bottle with cute stainless steel cups for drinking water! It’s a popular place so today we arrived as they opened in order to get a seat. It soon filled up. This place does a lot of takeaway breakfasts also. We were served by the lovely and friendly Josh and ordered the amazing French toast along with the Turkish eggs with chorizo. Coffees were great as well. Service is polite and efficient and we’ll be back tomorrow!”

“Now we’re talking. La Collina was a treat - they have a short, simple home-made lunch menu. I had gnocchi with Bolognaise sauce. Perfect portion size. Coffee was delicious and forced myself to have a pistachio cannoli alongside it. Matt the chef is a focused on flavour and dishes with a twist - you can taste it. Nice space to work from too. Back soon. BACK AGAIN: La Collina is a hidden gem. The menu is developing from daytime only into an evening offering too. Matt, the creator and chef is passionate about the menu. New menu dropping in mid August. Go there.”

“Eaten from the normal menu loads via takeout/online ordering, but today we ate in and had the breakfast. Tried the Morning Glory - hands down best breakfast menu item I've ever eaten, along with a brilliant brew (I want to buy one of those mugs!) and lovely atmosphere. Service was top notch, friendly and helpful. Will definitely be going back for more brunches and sandwiches.”

“Hats off to the team at Toms Table, we booked a table for our anniversary and had a fantastic meal, starters of pork fritter and I had the cheese soufflé, then we both had Sirloin steak that was perfectly cooked. We were too full for dessert but we received a lovely little complementary cake with happy anniversary written in chocolate sauce which was a lovely touch and totally unexpected.”

“This place is five ⭐ stars!! Afternoon event for a Holy Communion! Food, atmosphere and staff all amazing. A sense that they all enjoy their work!! Very clean and probably the best breakfast food I’ve had in years! Perfection!! Value for money also was a 5/5!!!! My son who has autism enjoyed his food and ate it so that’s a big compliment!!! We will be back!!!”

“Best soup I’ve ever had!! Cosy tucked away hidden gem. I ordered the Tomato soup and Cajun chicken ciabatta. Portion sizes were big & value for money was amazing. The staff are very friendly & kind. Will 100% be coming again. The hot chocolate with marshmallows is soooo good.”

“All the food is very delicious and tasty. We like kubaidah and Naan and qabli Palau. The meat is very tender juicy and delicious. The atmosphere is cool here. It's not a big restaurant so it's always full or even fully booked. You need to book it in advance to secure the table here.”

“A lovely cafe with welcoming staff members. They are in the perfect spot for a bite to eat at the end of your walk. They accept cards as well as cash and the prices are reasonable. A Kelly's ice cream on a nice cone was £3. There are toilets too. Parking can be difficult on weekends but we've never struggled in the week”

“Wow! We came here today after originally planning to only go for a hot drink after our walk. We looked at the menu and then had a little walk around but something was calling us back. We decided to sit outside and grab a menu - the food smelt absolutely unreal so we chose to move inside and order food and drinks. Best chicken club I’ve ever had!! “Went to Piccadilly Garden with friends then just searched cafe on Google map, found this cafe and walked in We ordered Benedict and French toast, the Benedict is surprisingly nice, its wish sweet potato hash browns mixed with bacon bits and red pepper. I think it’s an interesting combination, I never see anything similar in other brunch spots. I personally don’t eat red peppers, this combination even caught my stomach. And I think the Holland sauce is quite nice, better than other places I’ve tried. Classic french toast is okay, normal I’d say. Also ordered berries mocktails it tastes fresh I like it, £5 is very reasonable Have to shout out to Tyler for the great service, very lovely and considerate. We had a whole excellent brunch experience here, and would always love to come back”
