The day was really engaging and interesting - the recipes were great, the pace was just right and we were given so much useful information as well as little tips and tricks. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly, the facilities were lovely and the course was expertly delivered. I would definitely recommend and I'm already looking at what courses I can do next!”

“This is without a doubt my favourite restaurant. So far, it is the only place I have found outside of Italy to serve fresh, authentic Italian foods. My partner is Italian, and hence a harsh critic. Casa Italia has won his approval and we both come here regularly. It is clear that the people posting negative reviews about frozen food have never eaten here. There is an open kitchen where you can watch the chef cooking delicious food, all from fresh ingredients. Service is attentive, the atmosphere welcoming, and the food exceptional. I would recommend anything on the menu. But for me, two stand out dishes are the polpette Di carne (beef meatballs with a cheese centre) and the formaggi fusi (a bubbling dish of melted Italian cheeses)”

“First time here and it didnt disappoint! Great service and great food! Steak was cooked to perfection, corn ribs were yummy and the half rack of ribs were super tasty! Had a chocolate milkshake for dessert too! Overall good value for money! Car park gets a bit hectic at busy times but still seemed to be spaces available.”

“Despite being really busy our sever took time to chat and recommend dishes. We had Tarragon Chicken and Lemon and chilli chicken with spicy rice. Dishes were full of flavour. We would eat there again.”

“I'd highly recommend eating at the Clink, the food was great and it was for a good cause. We would visit again if we're in the area. Perfect if you're visiting Quarry Bank. We had a lovely Sunday dinner here, with the lovely veg and roasties. The charred mackeral starter was marvellous, as was the panna cotta. The staff were pleasant, with great service and reasonable prices. Good toilet facilties, including disabled loo. Access ramp in place for wheeled entry, terrain mostly flat with parking located near the entrance”

The restaurant is clean, the service is smooth and fast, and the staff was truly excellent. As for the food, the fillet steak with green peppercorns was superb, the seafood risotto was excellent, and the breaded cheese. “If there was an option for 6 stars, this pub would get it. Came here after a walk in the area and walked in to friendly staff and a warm fire. It was a weekday so not so busy we got a table straight away. You think it can't get better. It does. The pie was amazing, mash was amazing and gravy was amazing too. Such lovely food we had to get dessert and that was, as predicted, amazing. Can't wait to come back here again and try the other food on the menu, really exceptionally good pub to come.”
