“Been living at Globe House for almost a year now and feel very at home. The apartment is finished to a high standard and building facilities are fantastic - who doesn’t want to unwind in a spa! The management team are brilliant, nothing is ever too much trouble and any problems are solved straight away. Additionally, they are all so friendly and it’s lovely to pop by for a chat. Location is great, really easy to pop into the city and a very short walk to the train station. I would highly recommend living here!”

“Scott has been walking my dog, Rupert, for nearly 1.5 years. He started doing puppy visits initially until he was vaccinated which he then joined the group walks. Throughout it all Scott has been amazing with him and Rupert gets so excited every time he gets picked up! The best touch on it is the updates via Instagram stories where I can see my little boy running around being happy. I highly recommend the value of the service for the price compared to doggy day care.”

“Highly recommended for dog walking and pet sitting. Just moved few months ago, and we´ve been so lucky to came across with Fraser. He is taking care of our two dogs daily for a walk and home sitting them some nights every month. Both of the dogs are rescued and it is not easy to get close to them or gain their confidence and every time they see Fraser they are happy and go to kiss him. He is got a natural affinity with dogs. He is organised and friendly and keeps communication regular which made our first days leaving them easier for us. One of the times I was away and he was pet sitting them they went stomach sick and he looked after them while keeping me updated with everything. So always know they are in safe hands with Fraser. We get peace of mind leaving our dogs with him as we know that he really cares about them.”

“Popped in because it just looked interesting. Saw "Tameside" gin and was intrigued. I asked the barman to surprise me. He made me a Blood Orange Gin and Lemonade and it was absolutely fantastic. He told me a bit about the origin of it and knew his products. I can heartily recommend you at least pip in for 1 and sit in what is a truly lovely place while you enjoy a delicious glass of gin. Fantastic.”

“I have to say I was crying when my 9ct yellow gold beads were tested with 18k acid . It turned my beads brassy brown. I was devasted! I brought them to Natasha’s mum who previously fixed them @ swinton diamonds&gold Natasha has some how (buffed) them and retained my gold . “Went here for my sister’s 30th for Sunday lunch with my family. The food was incredible and the gravy was so shiny and delicious and there was loads of it! A true northern restaurant. My grandpa also has dementia and we requested that the food was served quickly. They were very accommodating. Can’t wait to come back and try the small plates.”

The Pachos Smash Up was our favourite, crispy chicken and juicy beef in one burger! Everything here is fresh because they grind their own meat and mix it themselves. Thank you so much for making my aunt's 90th birthday such a special one and kindly allowing us to bring our own cake which was brought to the table in perfect timing and then cut for us beautifully. A family favourite of ours! 'Adult family' favourite, I may add. I wouldn't say it was a 'young family restaurant' as such. More of an adult dining experience, especially perfect for special events. To me, it feels special without being pretentious. The staff have always been incredibly kind, friendly and helpful; wanting you to enjoy your time with them. Thank you again. Flat bread with beef fat is a must. Great place to enjoy good and creative food and wine and have a good and relaxing evening. All recommendations.”
