“Went here for my sister’s 30th for Sunday lunch with my family. The food was incredible and the gravy was so shiny and delicious and there was loads of it! A true northern restaurant. My grandpa also has dementia and we requested that the food was served quickly. They were very accommodating. Can’t wait to come back and try the small plates.”

“Tucked away in Ashton Under Lyne Indoor Market there is a great FILIPINO FUSION Restraunt. Run by a Mum and Son team dishing up some authentic filipino dishes. We ordered Beef Tapsilog £12 for the dish and a coke to share total was £25 The beef was excellent cooked to perfection included the staple rice , salad and fried egg, TARPS is open 6 days a week 11am to 4.30 pm Monday to Saturday. “Super Smash makes amazing burgers! We tried the Pachos Smash Up, Juicy Lois, and the Original Crispy Chicken Burger. The Pachos Smash Up was our favourite, crispy chicken and juicy beef in one burger! Everything here is fresh because they grind their own meat and mix it themselves. You can really taste the difference. We’ll definitely be back!”

“Highly recommend!! Food, service and atmosphere excellent!!! I called up before to see if we could book and lucky they had an hour free to offer us a table for 2, I also mentioned I am celiac and it was no issue at all. When we arrived it was fairly busy but that didn’t affect the service or friendly atmosphere. The waiter remembered I mentioned celiac/gf. We ordered the summer rolls and chicken wings (none gluten free) and they offered to make the chicken wings gluten free which meant I could try them too! I could have eaten 10! They were so tasty!! I had the traditional pho for my main, the broth was full of flavour and lots of coriander which I love!! My partner ordered drunken chicken noodles which I wanted to try but it wasn’t GF, they said they could make it GF next time, which is great news! It’s more often places offer to make food gluten free so this was a pleasant surprise. They definitely accommodate GF needs. Everything tasted so good!! You wouldn’t think it was gluten free, I would definitely recommend to anyone, celiac or not! I’ll definitely be going back again.”

“My partner booked Ela for a surprise date night! It was ‘nice’ .. I asked for olives while ordering my drink and was told no? Thought this was odd! But Nevermind! Order was olives, Saganaki (just tasted like very burned cheese) a trio of dips with hummus, a cheese pastry thing (can’t remember the name) mixed grill, Kleftiko - Wasn’t the best? Watery and flavourless (I had had it elsewhere and thought the same so maybe it just isn’t for me?) not sure I would recommend or go back! But I do know other people who really like it!”

“I'd highly recommend eating at the Clink, the food was great and it was for a good cause. We would visit again if we're in the area. Perfect if you're visiting Quarry Bank. We had a lovely Sunday dinner here, with the lovely veg and roasties. The charred mackeral starter was marvellous, as was the panna cotta. The staff were pleasant, with great service and reasonable prices. Good toilet facilties, including disabled loo. Access ramp in place for wheeled entry, terrain mostly flat with parking located near the entrance”

“We had breakfast today at Royal Restaurant they gave us a delightful experience with its great service. The menu features both traditional and contemporary cuisine making it a wonderful choice for ANY occasion. The flavours are well balanced and the presentation is visually appealing. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly ensuring that all guests feel welcomed and great taken care of. We ordered Aloo Tikki Sandwich OMG super hit trust me was delicious and we had omelette and paratha that was delicious too authentic plus crispy not oily at all... I We will definitely be coming back here again and would recommend this place to anybody.”

“We ate at Zaytoon for the first time last night and we absolutely loved it. The food was amazing; just delicious. We had the mezze platter and a whole sea bass, and everything was perfect. One of us wanted more lamb and had the kebabs, which he said were delicious too. The staff were absolutely lovely, friendly and welcoming. Definitely will be coming back.”

The food was top notch, the wine pairings complimented the dishes impeccably, the service was perfect and the overall experience certainly worth the price. We chose the a la carte menu but we will be going back for the taster menu very soon. 2 starters, 2 mains with 2 side dishes, along with 2 desserts with their desert wine pairings went for around £70 pp which for the experience and quality was beyond worth it.”

Thank you so much for making my aunt's 90th birthday such a special one and kindly allowing us to bring our own cake which was brought to the table in perfect timing and then cut for us beautifully. A family favourite of ours! 'Adult family' favourite, I may add. I wouldn't say it was a 'young family restaurant' as such. More of an adult dining experience, especially perfect for special events. To me, it feels special without being pretentious. The staff have always been incredibly kind, friendly and helpful; wanting you to enjoy your time with them. Thank you again. “I came to French Tacos at 03:00 in the morning after a long day of work and wanted a quick bite to eat before I headed off home to sleep. As I stepped foot into French Tacos, I was greeted by the 2 guys at the counter, as it was my first time I wasn’t sure what option to choose as there was so many delicious options to choose from the menu, so they helped me out and recommended I try a mixed meat wrap. Whilst waiting I was asked how my day was and had a great chat with the guys. The mixed wrap I had been recommended was really nice and delicious, I loved the potion size and the mixed meats inside the wrap it went so well especially with the cheese. It was perfect. Anyone new to this place or exploring it online for places to eat?, I completely recommend you try this place. Thank you lots to the owners.”

“I went to umezushi for my birthday meal with my closest friends. It definitely lived up to all of my expectations! Such a small & cosy place with truly phenomenal food, both in variety and in quality. We feasted on miso, handrolls, sashimi, sushi and desert... and I was blown away with every aspect. The staff were warm and knowledgeable which always helps. Definitely one to try for any sushi aficionados!”
