“We booked The Mews and The South Cottage for 5 nights for our wedding. The cottages were spotless, the interiors were beautiful and the views and ground of the cottages were stunning. It felt like homely luxury! The layout worked really well in terms of the number of bathrooms etc. It was the perfect place to get family and bridesmaids together before the wedding and such a beautiful place to get ready on the wedding morning itself. Would definitely recommend.”

“Another wonderful stay at the beautiful Rushop Hall this Easter holidays. We'd previously stayed here twice before in the bedrooms above the dining area of which both rooms were relaxing, comfortable and beautifully decorated. This time we'd decided to try the Pepper Pot, and we were blown away with the high standard. Particularly the attention to detail of this little cottage and the sheer comfort it provided us for our two night stay. Jan & Neil are amazing hosts, and provide you with exceptional customer service. Which has the right balance of being very welcoming but allowing you, your personal space-Really love this about them. Nothing is never too much trouble, so please ask them! Breakfast is delicious and beautifully cooked. Loved the additional fresh fruit & yogurt etc. Location is perfect, remote and relaxing with stunning views. Perfect surroundings for a wonderful nights sleep and of course beautiful views to wake up to in the morning. Thank you for making our stay just as delightful as it was 7 years ago. “This was our second visit to Kerridge End and we had another comfortable stay in The Hayloft. Good facilities for a wheelchair user with a lovely wetroom and shower chair provided. Very well equipped cottage having everything we needed. A lovely hamper was left for us on arrival and a delicious plate of homemade scones and jam too. Plenty of places to visit in the area.”

“We had a great time here, we stayed in Cabin 1 and it was so peaceful. We had our 7 month old to think about and this worked well as we could have dinner and relax in the evening and she could sleep in the cot in the bedroom and we wouldn't disturb here like we would in a hotel in one room. Staff were lovely and friendly and the site was clean. Hot tub was great to chill in the sunshine. Lovely walks around Dovestone Reservoir just a stones throw away. Have already recommended to family and would absolutely recommend again particularly for young families who like lots of countryside walks and exploring the local area.”

“There are hotels, and there are hotels, right? Equally, there are hotel staff, and there are hotel staff, with me so far? Well, the hotel does what it should, it’s clean, comfortable, well equipped and superbly located (if central Manchester is where you want to be?), so far so good! Now the staff, what a treat to be served so well by everyone, from the courteous cleaners that smiled and represented the company well, to the bar / reception staff that went above and beyond, really well done. In particular, the wonderful Nicole, service with the most wonderful smile and utterly professional, Accor, are you reading this ? She’s management material in the waiting right under your noses!! Dominic too was professional, smiling and uber efficient, the pair of them working together like a Swiss clock, effortless and confident, that’s how we guests like it, a big no, a Huge thanks for the stay! It gets another “Arnie” - a I’ll be back!”

“The cottage is much above the standard. Very clear and tidy. The owner is very kind and helpful. The area is stanning. Lots of beautiful walking and hiking routes around. And the nearby villages are lovely. Highly recommended!”

“Tracy's looked after our cat during two separate holidays now and I can confidentially say she is the perfect sitter! She is super friendly and organised. She popped round before we went away to discuss the cat's food arrangements and other routines before coming back twice a day whilst we were away. On the first occasion, we'd only had our cat a couple of months when we left her with Tracy but we felt totally reassured as she was such a natural with her and kept us up-to-date with messages and photos on WhatsApp. I highly recommend Tracy to anyone looking for a pet sitter.”

“We are so happy to have found Dave to walk our dog, he is totally reliable, friendly and professional, and always keeps us in touch with the walks sending photos of Tiggy playing. Dave is very calm with Tiggy, and taught her to socialise with other dogs; and Tiggy is very happy going with him! I totally trust Dave and feel I can relax knowing Tiggy is with the best walker.”

“Myself, daughter and dog recently stayed 2 nights at Travelodge Central Manchester on 17th - 19th August 2021. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it was lovely to 'get away from it all'. The only disappointing thing about the room was, there was no hand wash in the bathroom and the pedal bin didn't work.”

“Me and some friends booked this place for a reunion weekend. The booking process was really easy and communication after booking was spot on. The place was really easy to find and our unit was absolutely beautiful. The hot tub was ready to go and the owner showed us how to use it. The kitchen was really well equipped for cooking and the attention to detail in the entire place was amazing. It was also immaculately clean. This place was a great find and we will for sure come back!!!”

“Have to say, we would be lost without petpals looking after our cats when we go away, far cheaper than putting the cats in a cattery and we know they are all safe,fed , kept warm and are well when we are not there- one of the best advantages of the service is you also know your house is in safe hands closing the curtains and turning on the lights at night. They know all our cats names and behaviours and introduce themselves before they start to look them/ when we come home from holidays a diary of all their behaviour , what they eat , drank and any issues (not one so far). We have used petpals for a few years now and will continue to do so. The previous comment with one star is completely off topic!”

“Had a 2 night stay here for exploring the local attractions, the hosts are very Friendly and knowledgeable. A good choice of breakfast items that the cook for you fresh, good quality food too. The local pub just a short walk away has excellent dining for a relaxing evening too.”

“Taken our dog there a couple times over the years as he rarely goes into kennels (normally comes with us) but this kennels are very carering to his needs, he always comes back very happy, like he’s enjoyed himself.”
