“Went to see STUART MICHAEL. Would definitely recommend! It was my first ever show of this kind. It was packed out! Would suggest getting there at least half hour before any show starts to get a carpark space behind the theatre.”

“Visited here today and had a great meal. The Gurkha beer is really nice, I told myself I'd only have one as they're 660ml but I ended up having 2 as they were so good. Ended up having the mixed main as a starter but if I went again I'd just have several portions of the lamb chops, the rest of the meat was very nice (quite spicy for anyone worried about spice) but the lamb chops were amazing. Had the duck masala main and the lamb Gurkha curry, would highly recommend the Gurkha Curry it was fantastic, the duck was nice it's different than most Curries so if you want something more aromatic it's something to try. Bread was nice, poppadoms nice and the chutneys were good too. Between 2 of us spent £77 but had separate sides, rice's and effectively 3 main courses and a couple of beers/soft drinks so I'd say it was good value for the quality and quantity of meat. Give it a try, you won't regret it.”

“Nice little Nandos in the centre of altrincham. It's a good spot to meet friends for an informal spot of lunch. Everyone loves a Cheeky Nandos after all!! Staff were friendly, Food was on par for nandos. And the vibe was good.”

“My daughter had an eye test here today . Out of area for us but was worth it for the standard of cleanliness and friendliness of all the staff who dealt with her . She was amazing and they praised her which made her feel comfortable, no big waits and not overly crowded . I don’t have one negative to say about todays experience”

“My dog is 4 this year and I've been coming here to get her groomed since she was a pup, always a brilliant job done and I have peace of mind I'm leaving her in safe hands. I use the groom room about 4 times a year for a full groom they do a lovely shorter cut that helps me manage a hairy home as she is a bearded collie. Edit* after this review we have found the service isn't as good as it was noticed a change in staff”

So when I discovered The Knot on Instagram, I was comforted by their customer-first philosophy and the emphasis placed on an individual and tailored experience. My actual experience in the salon matched and exceeded my expectations! I was offered a drink on arrival and was given a beautifully presented mint tea with my favourite biscoff biscuits. I was lucky enough to have an appointment with salon owner David who made me feel comfortable right from the start and was so accommodating to my needs. “Katie did a fantastic job with our end-of-tenancy clean. The tenant had left the property in an absolutely horrendous state, but Katie quickly took care of everything. Her communication was amazing from start to finish, and she was incredibly friendly and professional. She arranged for rubbish and furniture to be removed and disposed of, followed by a deep clean—all at short notice. The transformation was incredible—the place was a million times better afterwards! “I just happened upon this place as I was walking along the canal at Broadheath. A young couple were sitting on the tow path eating a pizza. “Is it good?” I asked. “Delicious” was the reply. Decided to give it a go. The owner was a delightful fella who is clearly passionate about the food he is serving. Other customers in the place were all there due to “word by mouth”. The menu has the usual stalwarts but also more authentic pizzas too. I had the Friarielli & Nduja. Delicious. The pizza dough was the freshest and lightest that I have EVER had. I felt that I’d had an authentic pizza made by someone who cares rather than a portion-controlled production line made by an employee of a massive company paying minimum wage. A wonderful discovery and I shall visit again. They have a bigger premises in Sale btw. Ciao.”

“Lovely friendly staff, very cute setting. The food is authentic, filling and very tasty. I recommend the Jollof rice and the curry goat. Had a great chat with the owner about quality of food and having Jerk, French Afro Caribbean food in the area. Amazing food”

“My go-to pizza place. A good, easy-to-use website with deals and a large selection of pizzas, including a make-your-own option with many toppings to choose from. Pizzas are very customisable, with options such as cheese type, base type and sauce. Overall a great pizza place.”

Really can't see what else they can do to make it better. And no this isn't a paid review. It's well worth a visit, support your local restaurants!”

“Local couple following their dream. It’s a cafe but I haven’t visited during the day. As a bar they have Neck Oil and Cruzcampo on draught. Wine and spirits available. Gets busy and buzzy Friday and Saturday. Would be great if they do snacks eg meat platters, cheese, olives etc in summer. I wish you every success.”

“Robina and John are the most wonderful neighbours to have over the road from Hive Stores. They both work very hard to bring a lot more joy and creativity to the neighbourhood and are always willing to help where they can. The waiting room cafe has the best value full English around and the engine room is set to become a great creative hub. Whilst enjoying breakfast on our day off we conversed with familiar faces from the local neighbourhood who were enjoying crafts and socialising in a relaxed atmosphere. “Most friendly, welcoming, caring barbers I have had the pleasure of go to. I take my son every month and you are welcomed as though a long lost friend. The care they take when doing hair and beards is extraordinary. I sit and watch Kostas when doing my son's hair and it's like watching an artist at work, the care and attention to detail is beyond anything I have seen in both barbers & hairdressers before. “Went for a Turkish wet shave today. Very professional, my stubble was "steamed", moistourised, shave foam applied, then a very careful shave with a cut throat razor followed. Very nice results, no rash. Will happily recommend. 5 stars.”
