“Spoilt for choice in Bramhall for eateries, and having never tried the Nook and Broom before, the family and I thought we'd give it a go. The verdict was unanimous. A great choice of family friendly seating areas, all well lit. A number of small unobtrusive TV's for those who go to watch sports. The food. Oh my goodness the food! Great value and all very well prepared and served in good time. My personal favourite was the 1kg chicken wing sharer. So much so my son and I went back a few days later to take advantage of 'wing Wednesday' 40p per wing (the wings are a good size too) in the sauce of your choice. Then, spotting the breakfast menu had to go back next day to sample the £7 Big Breakfast (see pic). A great spread for seven quid and all done to [my] perfection. Finally, the friendly and attentive staff. Cheers Leon and Olivia for topping off the experience with your professional and welcoming nature. Highly recommend this place for all the above reasons. “To experience this oddity in the modern world you cannot do it over a couple of drinks or a fleeting visit. It has historical and cultural depths that the locals are barely conscious of and only the regulars get it. Once you get it you'll find it difficult to let go. When I enter the MOP it feels like I'm putting on an old, but well loved jacket, with its creases that fits just right. Comfortable.”

“Everybody loves a good Chinese take away. With a few Chinese restaurants offered in the area, I can say that this is by far the BEST within a 3 mile radius! Wether you are travelling to pick up, or even waiting over an hour for delivery, it is definitely worth the wait. We ordered sweet and sour pork, chicken fried rice, Prawn toast, sticky beef, ribs and veg spring rolls... all were absolutely bloody delicious. I don't usually like Prawn toast, but woah, those were so *input curse word here for emphasis* good! The crunch, the taste & the sweet and sour sauce to complement were *chef kiss*. My favourite though was the sweet and sour pork. Gosh. I can't even explain it. Over the years I've had sweet and sour pork from so many places, but that.... that was absolute heaven in a box. The pricing for the dishes weren't extortionate at all. It's what you'll expect to pay for a takeaway... we had left overs and still tasted delicious heated up. We will definitely be returning. 100/10 will recommend as this place was recommended to us.”

“Food was on time. The setting was clean, warm and inviting. Haseeb and his team provided extremely friendly customer service and on top of that, the food was top tier. Came all the way from Birmingham and it did not disappoint!”

“First time customer. Went to the shop to order as it's close to home. It was busy (Sunday 6.30ish) always a good sign. Chose the Cocktail Masala, with Garlic Nan, Onion Bhajis, Poppadoms and usual accompaniments. The guy apologised for the wait which was only about 15mins or so which was less than I expected but they have that many Chefs it shouldn't have surprised me. It's an open kitchen, very clean, and reasonable prices. Will def be going back and definitely recommend.”

“They have a £15 deal full chicken 5 wings chips and 2 drinks.. really worth it tbh. I have had this a while ago and ate today. It was good value for money and the grilled chicken was fresh. I don't see what the moan is about with paying cash.. small business trying to survive without paying silly amounts in transaction fee or just eat/uber taking their 33% cuts. “Really nice pub been a few times now. Excellent value even without the 50% off and really nice food. It’s just standard chain pub food but it’s always hot and is actually really tasty. On this occasion one of the onion bhaji add ons didn’t arrive but the waiter sorted this out. They took a while to come (after we’d all finished sadly) but they were more than happy to put them in a takeaway bag and this was fine with me. Recommend for a quick good value bite to eat, there’s also a nice outside area with a small play area perfect for families.”
