“Never been here before but there was a band playing that we wanted to see. Great that some pubs are still willing to have live music. Really busy but the staff were excellent so no problem getting served. Although there was a choice of bitters it's a shame that there was no cask ale. A good looking pub and a friendly atmosphere and the band were brilliant so a really enjoyable Saturday night.”

“Visited for dinner, we both wanted the pie and chips, no pies left., We then chose fish and chips and they had to check if they had fish. We were about to leave, but they had two left. The food arrived and we were pleased either the good, fish was excellent, large, chunky fish and good batter. The pub was a bit smelly, tables very sticky. Toilets really clean and tidy. Not too busy on a Monday afternoon. The pub is next to the golf course, with a great view. The pub could be so much nicer and it would increase footfall from golfers too.”

“I have used Izzy for 6 weeks while I recovered from surgery . I used to see Izzy on my normal dog walks and saw her with the dogs she walked. I could see how the dogs she walked reacted to her and the care she took with them, so when I needed help after surgery I asked her if she could help. After a difficult time initially with one of my dogs who wouldn’t go in her car , all 3 really looked foreward to there walks and sat at the window looking for her. She was very reliable and very careing towards my dogs. My 3 are not easy, all have little issues and are old , she fitted in with them, accommodating there needs and was so patient with them. I don’t think I could have chosen anyone better . Thanks Izzy”
