“Paul is absolutely brilliant with dogs. He picks my bulldog up twice a week and she loves it. Mavis is 4 and a rescue who was wary of other dogs because she was just used for breeding and never mixed with other dogs but she is now running around with all the other dogs and loves it thanks to Paul. She loves him more then she loves me. Highly recommended”

“We turned up as a party of 5, late notice on a Sunday evening after a long drive from the West Country. Despite the kitchen about to close, the lady who served us was extremely accommodating and we were soon served with absolutely lovely Sunday roast dinners; delicious food and plenty of it, nothing was too much trouble. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Lovely atmosphere and a nice clean and friendly pub.”

“Had the beef and Stilton pie. Best ever!! Beautiful..Lasagne and chorizo fabulous. Obviously home cooked. Great service and so friendly. Highly recommended and food such a high standard. Get yourself there!..Also dog friendly and able to sit outside under a massive awning if prefer to inside. Lovely walks behind pub and 1.5mile walk from Bullyard campsite.”

“I cannot recommend Dogz Club enough! We got our little Dachshund just as we entered the first lockdown, so there was inevitable anxiety around a lack of socialising, but DC has ensured our pup is so confident and happy around other dogs. The staff are so attentive and update me with honest feedback whenever I ask for it. The picture/video updates during the day of all the dogs having fun, regular themed parties throughout the year and goody bags are all examples of extra touches which makes this such a great day-care. Thank you to the whole team!xxxx”

“Absolutely amazing service received today. I was amazed at the amount of food and the food its self was fabulous. We all left full and wanting to return again soon. There was four of us in our party , booked in yesterday and each and everyone of us had amazing meals. So reasonable and they even finished off surprising me with a special birthday dessert. “Fantastic service and food. We had a birthday dinner for two and they made the birthday girl feel special. Ambiance was modern and luxurious. We had starters of arancini and croquettes that were delicious. Mains we opted for steaks that were perfect with a cherry & almond dessert. All of this was absolutely divine. This place will take care of you and highly recommend”

“The BEST venue! The heart of any establishment is it's staff. This is what makes The Spinning Top, not only special, but an incredible place to be. Mike, the landlord, is the kindest, and funniest guy you will ever meet. Our band (For The Hornets) travelled a round trip of around 9 hours to play here, and we were treated like royalty by all of the staff. It rubs off on all of the customers too, as complete outsiders we were made to feel like family. The Bar: Extremely well stocked, with a huge range of craft beers, wines, and mainsteam lagers. My draft Peroni was ice clod and in a Peroni glass - they take pride in what they do. The whole place was spotless, including the loo's. Playing as a band: As I mentioned we were treated like kings. We borrowed the house equipment (a god send for a travelling band) and it was all fantastic. Mike done the sound better than most professional sound engineers that we meet. Epilogue: The following day I had a panic attack that I'd left some vital grear at the venue, and woke Mike up at silly 'o' clock in blind panic. He was calm and extremely helpful. I'm so grateful for this. My was head slightly sore from over-indulgence.... but my abs sore from laughing all night. Absolutely incredible venue. Best in Stockport and Manchester. Would travel a long way out of my way to visit here again. 11/10.”

Phoned the shop to check on availability and was told if they have it on their website, they have it in stock (which isn't always the case with other shops). Will be my first stop when wanting that 80's retro attire! See you soon guys”

“I know this place as the pepper mill and am a regular user. I always go for a salad box cause of my diet and I am never disappointed because they always have a good selection of meats,fish and cheese plus other vegetarian options. The menu as a whole is excellent and the specials are great value”

“Saturday 17th May 2025 This pub in Hyde necmxt to the train station is not just a historical gem with a proper Clientelle, and the person behind was polite and helpful Good banter was had in the fantastic pub it was good fun. There were 4 fantastic not big brewet ales on tonight with good rock background music next door to the Hyde central station This pub, when drinking real ales in Hyde, is an essential visit”

“Had a couple of beers here on a Friday evening. The guest beer was in great condition and the bar staff were really friendly. Plenty of parking next to the pub. Sports were being shown on multiple screens. Would recommend and visit again.”
