“Was excited to visit Hea as I'd seen it last time I went to Prestwich but had already eaten at the makers market. We finally went on the weekend and it didn't disappoint! It's a small cafe so you might not find a seat quickly as when we went it was busy, but luckily the table in the window was available. There's lots to choose from on the menu such as Hong Kong style sandwiches, toast, and street food, as well as Hong Kong tea, coffee and bubble tea (but there are also normal teas and coffees). We ordered the ham and egg sandwich, satay steak sandwich and pistachio toast. Unfortunately some of the wraps are limited to summer months but we hope to try those next time. The wait was a bit long as it was busy, but it was worth the wait!! All very tasty and reasonably priced, especially if you go for the set menu. I definitely want to come back and try everything else!”

“Absolute delightful experience. This place has good seating arrangements, which can accommodate more ppl hence the wait time is reasonable. Staffs are polite and friendly, serving is pretty fast. As always they served delicious food, chickpea burger with spicy chips is my favourite. This place is slightly near to the parking lot and next to the quay side mall.”

The panini was okay. A slight crisp to it, which was nice but quite scarce on the tuna. 3/5 for the panini!”

“Great little shop with a super range of items. I love that they stock some meats from Chilled Out Foods (delicious!). They also have a super in-store deli/cafe that sells breakfast subs and wraps, burgers, etc and in the evenings (different people) sell some very tasty kebabs. All fantastic!”

“Just called and spoke to a very nice lady asking if they had a certain paint in for my daughters bedroom I bought a tub a while back she put me on hold and when she came back they had none in and I really needed another one to finish my daughters room off so she took my number and said she will ring a different store where she was working tomorrow and if they had one in she would ask them to save it and she would pick it up gor me and bring it into the middleton store on Saturday when dhes next in for me to pick up that is first class help I really dont know of anyone else that would do thst as I dont drive what great customer service I can now finish my daughters room on Saturday and ill have one happy child a big thanks to the lady who delt with my phone call and thankyou to poundstrecher”

However, the person who served me dealt with the problem in a calm and professional manner and advised me to make a click and colllect order through the app, which also saved me money. “Absolutely delicious chicken wings, some of the best I've ever had. Quite happy with the salad that comes with the wings meal, didn't even expect salad but I was very pleasantly surprised. The place is nice and interacting with the staff was very pleasant. The meal also came with a flatbread, which was nice, but it tasted like store bought bread and not great taste. It's free, but probably can do without it or I'd be happy to pay more for better bread. The chips were probably 2/5, it was weird to have such mediocre chips with such great wings, and the 5* is solely because the wings and the service were outstanding. About the chips: too few, some of them were overcooked, some undercooked, a few were perfect, others were oily, had some weirdly shaped ones - pretty much what I get when I make chips at home. The peri-peri salt was top notch though...”
