“First time at this cafe. I ordered a black coffee, a coke and Traditional Eggs Benedict. The cafe was busy which shows how popular it is. The food was amazing. The eggs were cooked to perfection and were nice and runny. The bacon was also perfect. Not salty at all like some bacon. I’m always weary about ordering eggs Benedict as sometimes it’s not cooked properly and the sauce is tasteless, but not here. I actually wanted to lick the plate to get all the sauce. I will definitely be back xx”

“What a fabulous place! The staff are so friendly and helpful. We visited last Saturday for breakfast. It was super cold, but we cosied up in a little hut with a wood burner, cushions and blankets and a stunning view (dress warmly). The drinks were divine and food delicious. Great value too, £50 for four of us. Perfect!”

“Called in for breakfast, 1st time, was more than happy. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. Food and drink a Big 10/10 food was freshly cooked and piping hot. They even avoided one of my all time pet hates, cutting the toast corner to corner(it drives me insane lol) if you haven't been and are in the area definitely call in. Thank you ladies I will definitely be back.”

“Saturday 17th May 2025 This pub in Hyde necmxt to the train station is not just a historical gem with a proper Clientelle, and the person behind was polite and helpful Good banter was had in the fantastic pub it was good fun. There were 4 fantastic not big brewet ales on tonight with good rock background music next door to the Hyde central station This pub, when drinking real ales in Hyde, is an essential visit”

“Mark, Claire and the team are so very welcoming. Such a great bunch of people on both sides of the bar. The venue is cool and quirky. Interesting features such as the wagon wheel. Also loved looking at the art. There's live music, and sometimes food!! One of my favourite places to spend time in tameside!”

“Was recommended to this little gem by my son the food was absolutely amazing I had the king prawns on sourdough the sauce was just amazing it was followed by spicy lamb koftas on a flatbread and again it was beautiful it was totally filling meal. I would recommend this venue to everyone. The chef must be a magician as we didn’t wait very long for our starters and main meal. The young lady who was serving us and bringing our food was very busy but was polite knowledgeable about some of our parties allergies and always had a smile on her face nothing was a trouble. The staff at the bar were very polite and smiling all the time. We had a wonderful evening and made our stay there absolutely great. The staff at the venue are a credit to the owner and management.”

“Used to go here Great cafe Great staff Used to get large coffee or equivalent Sandwich when I can. Between any janusry - decemver 2023 to 2025 January to Jun etc can't remember what date exactly Sometimes I ised to get waffle Hot coco with marshmallow etc Depends in days I was in Staff are helpful including helping those with reading word They have nice display off cakes , biscuits and sandwiches They can be cold or cooked judt ask staff Price are different from each cup you have One I used to have like a massive bowl with to handle side by side. I not been recently Please check there website for opening times Facebook or others social media platforms they might be on. They sometimes bring new cakes you not seen. Muisc not to loud Has a nice space for extra customers to sit down Not just bottoms floor They aldi have disability access to That good. They have allergy warnings in place for customers as well Last bit not least Ask the company to fit Live streaming service in there Yoy get people across the world watching you service customers Twitch channel has tire 1 to tire 3 and twitch bits that 50/50 YouTube has subscribers to super chat YouTube super chat from £1 to £150 Just little idear for cafe to show what it like irl ( in real life) streams online It also great way for staff communicate to speak to there fans online while working Joshua Massey aka Jprincemassey Nice area as well Cross the road from jolly Carter pub So you not far from bus stop to hattersley or 201 bus go that way. Keep safe staff , ceo , owners of this cafe Don't nock it until you try thus places Some might get low score Best advice is Don't let it bring yoy down Can't please everyone who come here Side note please ask for identification Creative support or tameside support equivalent etc Personal reasons for not carrying I'd badges on them 1958 act And hiding there lyine yard in there clothes in public places it something I exsprenced Hope this helps others to beware They well know for this. “I went to Java after parkrun with a couple of park running friends. It was recommended by the team at Hyde parkrun and I can see why. There’s a really good range of food and drink available, and the prices are very reasonable indeed. We each had a really tasty, freshly baked pain au raisin, and one friend had the scrambled eggs on toast. This, along with three hot drinks, came in under £14. The service was first class, and they kindly replace one of the drinks I managed to spill. There’s only limited seating inside, but plenty of space outside. Highly recommended.”

“Never been here before but there was a band playing that we wanted to see. Great that some pubs are still willing to have live music. Really busy but the staff were excellent so no problem getting served. Although there was a choice of bitters it's a shame that there was no cask ale. A good looking pub and a friendly atmosphere and the band were brilliant so a really enjoyable Saturday night.”

“New Landlord Ryan has only been there 24 hours but what a difference already - obviously still got a few things to do but Rome wasn’t built in a day. Definitely a lot cleaner and beer tastes miles better! Nice to actually have hand soap in the toilets as well”

“We absolutely love it here! are regulars at Mottram wood because as a family of 6 we find that it has everything we need for all of us. Great food, friendly staff, a good play area for the kids and an outside area. And then the food is decent pub grub at a very reasonable price. We find it to be the best play area / restaurant around Manchester. We came here for Christmas dinner which was great and so reasonably priced and today my son just had his 6th birthday party at the wacky warehouse. Alex and Jess in the play area are outstanding and can’t do enough for you and the kids adore them too.”
