“We stayed at the Aviator in August and loved just about everything about it. We received a very nice welcome and all of the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was very spacious, well appointed and comfortable. It was also quiet. The art deco fittings and decor thought the hotel are beautiful and very well preserved. Food was very good. The wine was very reasonably priced and the two locally brewed beers were dangerously moreish! Set beside a not too busy flying club the grass area outside of the hotel was an ideal spot for a pre dinner drink. This hotel is great value for money and well worth a visit.”

“First time trying food here for lunch - it was so good!! Had the tuna/ cheese melt panini and thick chips and my husband had the vegetarian pizza - both were really good! Lots of tuna in the melt and the chips were smothered in cheese! Would definitely recommend!!!”

“Awesome pub with friendly staff. The land-lady laid on a buffet for my wife's birthday party which we held in the lounge area. We had the whole lounge to ourselves and the hire was free (takings at the bar). Highly recommend. They have great bands on there as well. Food is fab too.”

Truly a pub with something for everyone and Simon and the team do everything they can to treat everyone like regulars. If you're new to Northampton and looking for a community feel, the Abington is a great place to start.”

“Sunday roast beautiful as always. We had to wait for a bit but service was very apologetic and food is beautiful. Definitely worth waiting for. Pretty afford for that kind of meal. We had starter between us, chicken and beef roast and 2 soft drinks and it came up to just under £50. Can't recommend enough.”

“Stayed here one night while on business in the area. Room was fantastic bed was very comfy and the shower was brilliant. Check was excellent the lady there was very helpful. Car park is very small and if you’re not careful you will get blocked in, just bear it in mind. Can imagine it gets rowdy at the weekend as it bang in the centre, but mid week was fine and I slept well.”

Always have a good time here & upon a few too many tipples one night I left my phone and the bar staff very kindly looked after it & kept it for me, much to my huge relief the next day! “Visited this restaurant last night as a group of 10 in a private room. The decor in the restaurant is really modern and there is a lively atmosphere inside. Was served by Marie and the service was absolutely outstanding 10/10; nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious, everything came out fresh and hot and really well presented. The menu has a very good selection of traditional Turkish food and also a good choice of drinks. I think the prices are really affordable for the large portions that you get. Will definitely revisit this restaurant!!”
