“After recently moving to Finedon, wanted to try out the only Café here. Went for brunch, and me and my partner both had an English Breakfast with tea and coffee. It was reasonably priced, and the food itself was very nice. Really welcoming and friendly atmosphere, would 100% recommend to anyone who lives locally.”

“Three of us called in at short notice around 2pm on a weekday afternoon on the way back to London. We just wanted a drink and a small lunch. We each chose a sandwich, and I can say that the halloumi sandwich I had was maybe the best I’ve ever had. And the chips were excellent too. My friends each had the fish ginger sandwich and were equally impressed. I’d definitely call back if I was in the area again.”

“Amazing service and the coffee was so good! I asked the barista if they could make their gingerbread latte in an iced version and she was happy to make the change (so many places wouldn’t do the same). Prices were also reasonable and fair! Will definitely return to check out more of the menu!”

“We had a lovely brunch at the Garden Deli. The food ,as always is delicious and nicely arranged. The staff are polite and efficient. Service is prompt even when busy. There is a lovely atmosphere to the place, and interesting shops to browse in the Nene Court Shopping area.”

“my friend & 1 visited Sunday 27th July we meet every few months & like to try a new venue we're 10 years into this now and we both agreed this was one of the best Sunday lunches we've had. The staff were so friendly knowledgeable and accommodating nothing was to much trouble. The food was just fantastic, we may have to break our golden rule and return ! “Friendly people in the, nice choice of cocktails and love the local ciders. Hubby also liked the local beers. Great choice in drinks and the outdoor garden is cute and has good space in between the tables, there's a gazebo at the back to for extra sun protection / rain etc.”

“3 booked in for lunch. We had filled flatbread + chips for £10. Big plates of food and very tasty. The staff were delightful. There were other people in the pub that we knew and they had really enjoyed their meals too and we all said we'd happily return (for pudding, another day as we're all full this time). Will definitely recommend Star & Garter to others and certainly wish them every success.”

“Wow, what a lovely place!!! Delicious food and really cosy interior. Tomato soup was sooo good and pizza second to none. Pork belly ideal and Yorkshire pudding great. I would only made gravy a little less bitter but that was me. Great place!!!”

“Absolutely love this place, the food was outstanding, the best calamari I've ever had. I had an amazing sirloin steak with a gorgeous mushroom sauce. We had 3 courses for 39.95 such good value for money. The restaurant is lovely and the staff are so lovely and the service was great. Definitely worth a visit thank you”

“Really nice place to relax or if you prefer to watch sports there are plenty of televisions around to get a good view of one. The restaurant area looks really nice however, I've not eaten there (yet) so cannot comment on the food quality. The staff are really welcoming and polite. I'd recommend this place to all. Only issue I personally have is the fact I'm a real ale drinker and they only have a choice of two but that is not going to prevent me from continuing to go there.”

“Wanted to go here for some time and it did not disappoint!!! As soon as you walk through the door the gingerbread smell hits you, all hand made delights with so much to choose from. Not only is there sweet treats but the savoury selection is top quality too, and the coffee is brilliant! All at a more then reasonable price. It's so lovely to go somewhere that isn't a chain, has such a friendly warm atmosphere we need a Beth's in every town!”

“Amazing food, been in Northampton now for just over a year and struggled to find a decent takeaway that we enjoyed, however with here it was great . I had a Adana kofte which was perfectly seasoned but also had great portions . My partner had the vegetarian mousakka and was also delighted. Furthermore when the order arrived the delivery driver was very kind and polite , overall fantastic experience and great food , definitely will be ordering from here again and trying the restaurant post covid.”

“My second time visiting here, and the first with one of my boys. Very welcoming place for motorcyclists, the cooked breakfast was delicious, coffee was served in a nice big mug, and the atmosphere is very calm. Always seems to be aircraft out on the airfield and being flown, to enjoy as a spectator. Highly recommended.”
