“Just got back from taking my Dachshund to have her nails trimmed for the first time at Pooches Parlour. Roxy has always hated this and whilst I’ve never been in the room when she’s had it done, I have heard her sounds of distress. The feedback from other groomers has always been negative, never managing to trim them all and the last experience they said they had to muzzle her. I know my dog can be reluctant, vocal and strong willed but never have I had any sign of aggression come from her. Today’s experience bought me to tears, the lovely ladies had all of Roxy’s nails trimmed within 2 minutes and I could hear the constant reassurance they were giving her throughout. What may seem like such a little thing to others, has bought nothing but anxiety and worry to myself and Roxy and I can’t thank you enough for today. We will definitely be coming back to you each time. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! ☺️”
