My pizza and tira misu were gorgeous, but I was a little underwhelmed by my prawn starter otherwise I would have scored 5 stars. My wife and I had starters, mains, shared a dessert and I had 2 drinks and it came to just over £60 so really good value in my opinion Definitely worth a visit”

“I thought I did a review but clearly not . Alert this is the place to go . Service excellent on the phone in person the lady is lovely to talk to . Food out of this world well compared to any other in irthlingborough Rushden or higham we have tried The crispy shredded beef is amazing every time it's the best Highly recommended if you want to be full and have flavour . The waiting time never had a issue either maybe when busy busy 30 minutes wait . None of this 1 hour wait . Just ordering now as we speak lots of love to the family run business cheers to many more years of great food ordered by many And if your worried where to park there is a car park at the back behind the public toilets near the church if you aren't a local person and want to try . For 3 of us we spend around 30 in total and get quite a bit remember card payers order has to be 20pounds of more anything under its cash only .”

“We had an awesome time at the Flame and Thunder event. It was so much more than I was expecting, an exciting array of wacky and insane cars on the strip. Loads of extra stuff going on around the strip, monster trucks, drifting, stunt performers. Lots of food vans to pick from. They did well to keep tightly to the schedule and keep things moving despite some patches of rain. Its a great event with loads to see, definitely check it out!”

The decor is truly unique. From Only Fools and Horses quotes and pictures to old hats, guitars and vinyls up on the walls. You'll struggle to not spot something new each time you visit. The staff are always friendly and helpful. All in all, my favourite way to start the weekend is a Jester's breakfast!”

“my friend & 1 visited Sunday 27th July we meet every few months & like to try a new venue we're 10 years into this now and we both agreed this was one of the best Sunday lunches we've had. “Three of us called in at short notice around 2pm on a weekday afternoon on the way back to London. We just wanted a drink and a small lunch. We each chose a sandwich, and I can say that the halloumi sandwich I had was maybe the best I’ve ever had. And the chips were excellent too. They understand that some needs don't adhere to the clock's whims. But the pièce de résistance, the crowning jewel of the Oak House experience, is Gayle's tour. “Our first delivery and order. We were very surprised at just how nice it was. Ordered large doner and a chicken and lamb shish. Lamb melted in mouth chicken moist and doner lots of it. Will try it again for sure.”
