“Both of my sons attended Goals summer club this week for the first time from Mon 11th August - Thur 15th August. They both absolutely loved it, can't thank you enough. It was so well organised, greeted every morning with a smile and a conversation by staff Jamie Culley. He was so helpful/accommodating and showed great interest in the child/parent ensuring their needs were met daily, also always checking in to make sure they enjoyed it. I really felt reassured and safe leaving my sons in Jamie’s safe capable hands. My boys have been to other clubs but by far we all prefer Goals. There was a Great variety of food (healthy too) My sons loved their lunch everyday. Even the pizzas they made. There was always drinks/water fruit available each day and snacks throught out. Couldn’t fault it boys really enjoyed being there for 4hrs, But maybe an extra hour would maybe support working parents. It’s not a criticism just a suggestion. Really hope it can run again during the half terms/summer holidays. Thank you so very much Amy.”

“I highly recommend this nursery. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, the staff here are just wonderful. They’re polite, reassuring, respectful and supportive. My eldest who is now at school still talks about nursery and during half terms is always super excited to come with me to pick her sister up so that she can see everyone again. My youngest also has struggled with transitioning from being with me and going to nursery but thanks to the great bonds the staff have made with her, she is now always happy and excited to come to nursery. Things have also been slightly adapted to accommodate my youngest too; like buying different foods that she will eat and adapting the menu slightly for her, using a separation plate so that foods aren’t touching. Allowing her to bring comfort items with her and supporting the use of her ear defenders as and when she needs them. The manager James is also brilliant. When speaking to him regarding a bereavement, he took it upon himself to there and then order in books for kids related to grief, and allowed me to take them home to read to the children. This, I feel is an example of going above and beyond for the families who attend this setting.”

I was the winner of the 2017 "60 Seconds to Change Your Life" competition run by Training by Lumiere in conjunction with The Photography Show at the NEC Birmingham. Following several intense knock-out rounds, I was honoured to win the competition and receive a place on the 2017-18 Foundation Programme by TBL. Training by Lumiere consists of Kate and Brent, two incredibly knowledgable photography professionals with years of real-world experience in the industry. They are so warm and open in sharing everything they have learnt in their careers - none of it is just theory, but real, practical advice tried and tested by themselves. The quality of the information shared is second to none. It is so inspiring to be trained by successful, practicing photographers/videographers. Kate and Brent aim to fill in the blanks left by many other Photography educators with a real emphasis on business skills, professional practice and practical skills. I have a first class honours photography degree (2010-13), but I can't express enough how useful and transformative I found the Foundation Programme. As I left each and every session my brain was buzzing with new knowledge and I felt super inspired to make positive and impactful changes to my business. The 1-2-1 mentoring time is absolutely invaluable and allows for individual time spent with Kate and Brent on any aspect of photography or business practice that you choose. Training by Lumiere has been an integral part of starting and developping my photography buisness. I would encourage anyone considering this programme to go for it!”

“We booked a 4D scan with Window to the Womb and had such a positive experience. Our baby was hiding at first, and despite several attempts (including walks in between to try and get baby to move!), the staff were incredibly patient and supportive throughout. They kindly offered us to come back the following week, and after a few more tries we finally managed to see our baby’s face. “Really lovely place, obviously very popular so I would recommend booking. We visited on a Saturday evening and enjoyed items from the amazing Vegan menu. They were presented beautifully, and tasted wonderful. The only very slight draw backs were that because it was busy, there was a queue for the toilet a couple of times. Also, the more intimate style of the restaurant does mean it can feel a little loud. We cannot wait to go back!”
