“16th October 2024, we visited the Old Black Horse, and it was the Wednesday Night Pie night. We had a really good night. The price was fantastic. You can also order off the normal menu. The pies are first-rate and as good as any I have tasted before. The staff are really nice being professional and very friendly at the same time. We have been a number of times and had the Carvary. This is one of the tastest I have tasted, and the price is resealable.”

“On the first morning at Trent Bridge, these were offering free samples of the cheese wraps and I took a couple on the way past. They were so delicious, I hunted them down on the second morning, got chatting and ordered my breakfast from them. The couple running the stall were so friendly and the food was so delicious that I went back every morning for my breakfast naan and a chat before play began. The addition of a beautifully creamy pistachio kulfi for a Sunday special made it perfect treat. I am planning to come back to Trent Bridge again very soon and I hope these will be there to make for a perfect visit.”

“We have been several times to this cafe, the staff are happy and interact with you, polite but funny, each time we've been we've felt welcome and nothing is too much trouble, the food is delicious , looking forward to taking our daughter there next week when she's home from abroad. “Excellent food and service at reasonable prices. Staff were very accommodating and polite, and the food was to die for. Complements to the chef. New ownership and the only downside was no alcoholic beverage, although you were allowed to bring your own. Apparent lack of customers, but I think that was down to the open planning. Put some blinds up and make it a bit more private looking, and it's definitely a winner. It's certainly worth a visit and is now my goto restaurant for Indian cuisine.”
