“It's an aggregate bagging plant. Not much more I can say! Lots of lorries going know and out throughout the day The location is clean and tidy if visiting for work. Gravel car park. Not open to the public for visits. This site is not a quarry, just a bagging facility which has been in operation for many years. Aggregates are transferred in and bagged on site.”

“Went here to hire a floor sander, and it's been a great experience! Before we walked in, we already had plans on how we'll do it manually if they won't rent it to us, because we've been refused at Brandon's due to the lack of UK ID's with address on. We explained the situation to Michael, and he was more than helpful and welcoming, so we got the sander out. As we haven't sanded a floor before, we got a thorough demo on how to do it properly, and how to operate the sander and lots of advice. Good thing is that the 1 day hire is for 24 full hours, so we haven't had to rush back the same day, and they give you 10 of each grit sandpaper and you return the unused ones, so we haven't had to worry about them ripping and having to run back to the shop to pick up more (they do rip indeed, and we used more than we originally thought we will). They are very knowledgeable, friendly and fair guys, so in the future if we'll need any other tools, we'll be back! And thanks for helping us to make our floor look stunning!”

“Loved this little vegan gem. Friends brought us here while we were visiting nearby. It's a great place with cool decorations. It really stands out on the street. I love the name of the place and the menu is really unique for this area of the country. It's American soul food. Think vegan ribs and Mac and cheese. I had the Philly "cheese" steak sandwhich and I loved it. Their seitan recipe is the bomb. They should make a recipe book. If your not vegan you should still go as you won't get anything like this anywhere in the north.”

Their ice cream is nothing short of dangerous—amazing flavours that will leave you two stone heavier! The staff are enthusiastic and persuasive, ensuring that you leave with a wider selection than you’d initially intended. It’s a testament to their excellent customer service; just be prepared to indulge a little too much! However, there's potential for even more growth and enrichment at The Yorkshire Hive. Adding a few more small shops could enhance its appeal as a shopping destination, allowing retailers to support one another and create an inviting marketplace atmosphere. Perhaps the Yorkshire Wildlife Park could play a role in this development by offering discount coupons for small businesses in The Hive. Such initiatives would not only bolster the local economy but would also create a community-centric vibe that would attract repeat visitors.
