βI am acquainted with several members of the County Carers management team and have been for some time impressed by their professional approach to the their structure and organisation which has focussed on honesty, care and safety of all of their clients. In recent times as a result of change in my own personal health circumstances I am experiencing the benefits of County Carer's full range of caring capabilities. My day to day requirements are being met by home carers who have been selected from the care team whose skills are directly aligned to my needs. I am partly confined to my home but never feel the isolation of entrapment because the attentions of my primary visiting carer and her support . I would never under estimate the dedication with which Katie goes about her daily duties. I find this young lady applies honesty and care to everything she does be it domestic support activity or comfort and communication. On joint external visits for shopping etc I find her attention to my safety and well- being to be of the highest order and a true reflection of the principles I understood to be the focus of the owners and management team I feel happy with their ministrations and hope for all our sakes it may continue.β
βVery good place for babies and toddlers my little one love to go there β¦ there is lots of activities indoors and outdoor tooβ
βI would like to thank Lydia Clark and Zahra Akhtar for all their support and help. It is priceless to have a place where you can just breathe and talk. Lydia was amazing listening to me with compassion and no judgement. Zahra was instrumental in my taking the necessary steps to leave an abusive relationship. She provided me with practical information and genuinely worried about my wellbeing. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Together for Wellbeing Berkshire for being there for me in the darkest times. I will never forget it!β
βWe had an appointment to see Dr Jog regarding allergy testing. We were very happy with the speed in which testing was booked in and carried out and received a follow up call from Dr Jog just a few hours after the test was done. Exceptional service.β

But they did it .β
βAn excellent Hospital for rest, recovery and recouperation. I came here after burn out due to over working as a Mental Health Support Worker and as a precationary measure as I have been diagnosed with Bipolar. Every single member of staff have been very kind, considerate and empathetic during my stay. I was treated with care and dignity and actually made to feel like a person rather than a number. My mental health has really improved here because of the honesty and transparency of the staff. My allocated Lead Nurses, Managers and Doctors have been lovely and tried their best to facilitate my every request. I felt safe and secure and slept really well each night. The HCA's have been wonderful, many from Africa and there is nothing like African hospitality and it's nice when people do things because they want to, rather than when they have to. The warmth and genuine care I received has been second to none. I honestly am aware that each staff member, with their unique personality, has been so positive and humble. I feel truly blessed to have received the care and support I have at Thornford Hospital, Crookham Ward. Careplans were formulated to speed up recovery and without this specialist support I may have got very ill and gone into a deep depression. They say that people make the place and I feel very lucky to have received the excellent treatment that I have and met such amazing people. I will forever be greatful and will definitely return in the future to show my gratitude. God Bless you all. Keep doing what you are doing because you are brilliant at it and I wish you all the best for the future. Many thanks and warm regards Shak.β
βWe visited Frimley Park Hospitalβs Child A&E on Saturday night for our sonβs tummy bug, and we couldnβt be more grateful. From the moment we arrived, the reception staff were warm and efficient, making us feel at ease. The nurses and doctor were incredibly kind, smiling, and supportive, taking the time to explain everything and comfort our son. Their care was exceptional, and we felt so well looked after. Thank you to the amazing team for turning a stressful night into a positive experience! Highly recommend Frimley Park A&Eβ
βMy son is severely learning disabled and has recently moved into Supported Living in the area. My first dealings with this surgery has been with the lovely Rosie and I have to say the standard of care she delivers is phenomenal.β
βFeel I need to even out the reviews & therefore have selected 5*, despite thinking they deserve 3.5-4*. However, I don't know a single doctor's practice/medical centre that deserves 5* - even private ones! The current 2.5* may not truly reflect Crown Heights due to people only reviewing when something negative happens, plus people not realising the whole of the NHS is dire these days. I have extensive direct & indirect experiences with most of the practices in Basingstoke and Crown Heights remains joint top 2. As mentioned, I also have experiences with private medical centres. EVERYWHERE currently has moved to using E-consult as first line of contact - some of these get answered within 24hrs, others take a few days depending on the issue. Every practice's E-consult system isn't great. Receptionists will often ask you to lie to expedite the system when it comes to certain issues. Don't forget if you worsen whilst you await a response, it says to call them. I see E-consult as beneficial in some ways, as now we have written proof of what we've asked for help with. It also stops patients coming to appointments unprepared, completely relying on doctors to figure out what's wrong, from minimal info. We live in a time where we have to take our health into our own hands a lot more - writing symptoms lists/diagrams & timelines before appointments (you can send these virtually also) - anything you think might be useful & potentially doing your own research can be beneficial, as long as you feel capable doing so. Crown Heights has multiple doctors that will appreciate you coming into appointments with a sense of understanding and direction, whereas many doctors elsewhere find this offensive & undermining of their authority, due to being on a power-trip. Everywhere is difficult to get same-day appointments unless you phone within the first 30-60mins of opening, however Crown Heights is one of the better ones as they do actually have appointments to offer & usually call if agreed. The receptionists are generally friendly/helpful unlike many other practices, but like with any staff who are stretched beyond their limits, occasionally something will be forgotten and so it's okay to chase them. Utilise the different switchboard options; if it's a referral query, go directly to the secretaries as it'll save you days/weeks compared to leaving messages with reception. Don't forget you can email if suitable, although this is usually slower as it's considered less priority. Also don't forget you can speak to your pharmacist for certain medical advice and in many places they're allowing face to face chats again now. From my experience, Crown Heights holds the highest number of competent & good doctors. Everywhere will have some bad eggs & it's just about learning who's good & sticking with them - some doctors may have better knowledge on some conditions than others, so experiences per person may vary. Crown Heights allows you to request a specific doctor & depending on the urgency, 90% of the time they will give you them, especially if you have good reason, such as requesting a female doctor for women's health issues (something I usually recommend). We're lucky that at Crown Heights you can request a change of GP or doctor also - at other practices this gets denied. Let's say you see someone regarding a problem and they are dismissive and rude to you, don't give up, if the situation calls for it, ask for another appointment with someone else. Crown Heights are also a lot more open about giving you access to your own data compared to other practices, which suggests they're more honest/trustworthy, compared to other practices which lie incessantly. They're reliable and reasonable with medication requests - I've never had any issues here. They also finally sorted out their phone hold capacity.β
