“I want to say a massive thank you to Sarah, who was on duty yesterday (Thursday the 3rd around 11 am), for such amazing customer service! Also, I have to add that the manager on duty was very helpful and found a solution for my little issue quite quickly! Thank you guys for being so professional, going the extra mile, and still providing excellent service with a smile :) PS My friend loved the champagne :)”

“Great place to pick up essentials. Always well stocked and friendly and positive staff. Easy to park outside and never queue for long inside the shop. Current opening times are 7am - 8pm with first hour being for NHS staff.”

“I have been to many Supermarkets but this one is second to none. Super friendly staff lead by a great leader. We have recently moved to the area and every time I visit this store the staff exceeds my expectations. Whether its the manager trying to help me find the spring onions ( which were fully stocked on shelves but I failed to find) without embarrassing me and always checking how we were getting on- to Fiona going above and beyond the call of duty to find me gift bag. She went out to find me in the next door shop to tell me that she had found one for me. I have never seen a manager present and leading the staff from front as the gentleman at this store does. I can on to write an essay on this wonderful little store :)”

“I use my local Marks & Spencer regularly and the staff have always been fantastic, however, this week (12.06.2023 approx: 15:30) I witnessed just how ‘above and beyond’ they go. An elderly gentleman came into the store, he was obviously disoriented. Staff pulled together to assist him without a thought. Janet patiently spoke to him and helped him find the few items he wanted. Then the store manager (I am so sorry I’m not sure I have remembered his name correctly) Abdulla? He was a young dark haired man. He actually walked the gentleman home!!!. They were keen to make sure he was ok and advised that he does come in regularly but he is not usually as confused. The patience and care they showed this gentleman really touched me and restored my faith in humanity, particularly in a world where it seems large companies are keen to push ‘money saving technology’. Thank you!!!”

“Even though it was a small order for frozen gizzards ,it was managed with utmost care .prompt despatch ,excellent tracking and the item arrived very quickly,still frozen and extremely well wrapped in a thermal freezer bag swathed in kling film and boxed. This is my first time shopping here . I've saved the site and will most certainly look to ordering again from this business”

“A good branch of Co-op. Friendly, helpful staff. Well-stocked shelves. There's a cash machine just outside. There's a decent amount of free parking available behind the store. This is accessible via an alleyway next to the entrance.”

“The coop is a good place to pick up your essentials. Very limited parking which can be a pain but staff here are helpful and you can normally find everything you need. They have introduced self scan now aswell which is a plus. Sometimes it can be busy. Good place when it's late night and you need to pop out to get something g”

Took the time to speak with me, ask how I was, didn't offer to pack my bags, just started doing it. Genuinely chuffed when I walked out of the store. “Fad is a Middle-Eastern grocery store in Lower Earley at Reading and about the only shop that sells fresh Halal meat of all kinds, Lamb, Mutton, Beef, & Chicken. Despite its small size, the store has plenty of other goods popular in the Middle East including snack foods, break, pickles, ready-to-eat meals, frozen food, drinks, rice, flour and many other items. It also has household items & kitchenware. The prices however are above average but reasonable for those who rather not go to town for Halal shopping for ME goods.”

“Excellent location. Convenient and large, with especially amazing selection of beers, coders, wines and liquor. If you have any favourite flavour or brand. Chances are good you’ll find it here, paired with rare and unusual crisps. Produce and meats are fresh and plentiful, staff is friendly and helpful. Lots of self-checkout lines really cut down on waiting times. The only downside is the price - slightly higher overall than other stores in the area, but worth it for the quality and sortiment.”

“Lovely food, always my go to for a treat. Nicely laid out and a good selection. The short stay car park outside the door is a bit of a nightmare so, if you don't mind walking a couple of hundred metres more, it's a lot less hassle to use the long stay parking.”
