“I've used this garage a few times now the bloke who works there is sound always got time for a quick chat about your car and it's problems and will ring before he starts any work on your car to let you know what's happening. Overall this garage is fairly priced and the bloke is up front and honest.”

“Edit: I’ve upgraded them to 5* as I put in another order on 23rd December and it arrived the next day - Christmas Eve! Was not expecting that, so top marks to them :-). Earlier review: Generally great. Even the stuff on its expiry date was still in good condition and tasty. An excellent way to get around the current price hikes. Only reason I knocked off a star is it took them most of the week to pick the order, and these days we’re used to speedier preparation. Will definitely use them again, but leave more time for this.”

“I had a wonderful cake made for me at quite short notice. I was asked to provide a picture to transfer onto the icing which looked brilliant and they baked a beautiful chocolate which tasted amazing. I know I may have been able to get one potentially cheaper elsewhere however it looked brilliant, it was undeniably a cake made with TLC as well as quality ingredients, it was a doddle to sort out, service and delivery time to pick up was exactly as I needed and the cake (for someone who is rubbish at calculating how much required) was pretty much the right size I needed for the numbers attending my party. “Wonderful tasty brunch for vegetarian and non vegetarian and vegan. Excellent big portion, make sure you havent eaten earlier and cooked to perfection. Coffee and tea really good and lots of choices Service was brilliant, really polite, helpful and accommodating. Very impressive. Nice atmosphere. Also bought a lovely takeaway banoffee flapjack. Will definetly go back here.”

“What a lovely find. Been to Penistone today for the first time in years and happened upon this café. Really enjoyed the sandwich & coffee there and brownie I had as takeaway. The staff were very welcoming and helped my elderly father to find the toilet outside somewhere around the back.”

“Long standing traditional tobacconist. Wide array of products and one of the few remaining places where 'twist' pigtail chewing & pipe tobacco can be bought in Yorkshire! Very helpful owners & staff. Highly recommended.”

“Im disabled and recently visited this store! The staff couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating with me being in a wheel chair. To make it even better when I had finished my shopping the lovely last that served me helped save me some money with giving me a Morrisons card..I will 100% be shopping there again..thank you to the lovely staff the manager there should be proud”

“This is a lovely little cafe. We have been a few times, and today, my husband had sausage, chips, egg, and beans, and I had a club sandwich and a piece of Victoria sponge cake. The service is really good and all the staff are really friendly. The menu is full of variety, and there is also a specials board. I would recommend calling off here for lunch or coffe, cake and a natter.”

“Amazing cafe. I just had coffee and cake but the menu looked amazing with plenty of veggie and vegan options. Seats outdoors, 2 floors inside, and also on the first floor balcony. Just about space to tuck the bike out of the way against the wall outside.”

“We haven't been for a while and it seems to have found it's niche in Nether edge. Really good coffee, great cake and very welcoming atmosphere and staff. It's quieter than others close by which was perfect for me. Update- the cafe has really found it's feet. Everything home made, sour dough based. This morning we sampled a wonderful cinnamon bun.”

“I walked in and was instantly blown away by the brilliant atmosphere. I ordered a cappuccino and there was little waiting time. The prices are brilliant alongside the cups the coffee come in. Upon getting my coffee, I noticed it was really smooth which, in my opinion, is a good sign. I do recommend coming here if given the chance.”

“Wonderful find. Jo and her team made this small but perfectly lovely cafe a really special visit. Everything was delicious, the toasties were somehow so much better than the usual cafe fare, I think it was the high quality bread and ingredients. The puddings and custard were also excellent, we had the Bakewell pudding and the rhubarb and apple tart, both with (just howI like it, not too runny) custard. Excellent. Finally thanks Jo, you couldn't have made us feel more welcome! Best cafe I've been to for a long time, you can see why it won best Derbyshire cafe this year!”
