“Stopped in for a spur-of-the-moment afternoon tea on a day out to Chesterfield. Everything was delicious (especially the sugar-topped scones!) and we had plenty of space upstairs. It was the first afternoon tea for two of the people in our party and they both promised they would be returning for more!”

“We eat here once or twice a month and they never disappoint! Good portion is sized perfectly, the food is delicious and the staff are lovely. The place is kept clean, and service is fast. Would definitely recommend! Be mindful that it’s cash only :)”

“This was our first visit for my grandmother's 78th birthday. The place is so modern and clean. The staff couldn't do enough for us and was really attentive and obliging (Molly, Isobel and Monica) we really got to know the staff and we was made to feel so comfortable. There is indoor and outdoor seating which is covered over or you can sit in a sun spot. Honestly it's a place you could sit in all day, a bonus they have Free Wi-Fi. The food was unbelievable and so fresh! We all had something different and everything was top notch. Again I just want to say how attentive the staff was!”

“1 of my favourite places to east when I'm at that end of town. Great food, and some brilliant veggie options for those who want them. Their spicy veggie sausage rolls are nicer than most meat ones by far. Great service, keep up the amazing work”

“A great find, only a small menu, but don't let this put you off. The food is excellent. Freshly cooked and really tasty. Good coffee, too. I had a cappuccino and don't normally have chocolate on top, but this chocolate actually tasted like real chocolate. The staff are friendly and there is a really nice atmosphere too. Will definitely be back to try the other items on the menu.”

“As surprising as it sounds they have a lovely section with meats from a local butcher. Very convenient hours especially compared to most other butchers.”

“Coffee and cake at 10 am. Beautiful cafe, nice menu but we were there for cake. Lattes were really delicious, best I've had for a long time. My friends blueberry scone looked fabulous. I am coeliac, the only option was chocolate brownie. It was fine but I would have liked more choice.”

“My parents were over from Ireland and we wanted to give them their first Afternoon tea experience. We all really enjoyed the food! The venue is lovely and cosy with a nice chilled atmosphere. You can also eat outside on a sunny day if you want. My 4 year old son was with us and they made him his own sandwich and gave him a scone free of charge. We had a lovely chat with the manager/owner at the end. Overall we had a lovely experience!!!”

“Lovely and polite staff, especially a blonde lady with a ponytail who served me on 23/09 around 5PM. The drinks were made perfectly. I asked for a drink outside of a set menu and she knew exactly what I was talking about and completely smashed it!”

“Myself, husband and doggie (Colin) popped into the cafe this morning for a bacon butty before our walk around the lovely country park. What can we say other than the bacon butties were amazing. Proper soft thick sliced bread (no bread cakes) with gorgeous well cooked bacon. Excellent service and the waitress that came out to us was a dream. Keep up the good work, we will be back xx”

“I would say the non food side of the store is the best part of the store with high availability pricing is a bit of an issue though in this store alot of clothing says sale but is still full price. Ambient food availability is usually pretty poor and the fmcg departments have ample variety of stock. The frozen section is always empty. Never visited the cafe due to its pricing. Overall avoid store petrol station onside too”

“Great little shop with newspapers confectioners tobacconist alcohol general shopping fresh vegetables and a sub Post Office which does many of the things that the main Post Offices do. Convenience store prices for the most part but they do have some really good offers from time to time and open everyday till late at night it's an absolute must for the village”

“My partner is a coffee connoisseur and he was pleasantly impressed by the quality of the coffee. For me, I ordered a delicious iced sweet drink and I was stunned by the speed of which the drink was made. I paid for the drinks, walked over and they were both done. It is so clear to see that the communication, work ethic and skill set between the team members are very strong. I’m very pleased and impressed with my experience here.”
