Big bonus for us was that the seats face each other which is great when you’re travelling with young children. Prices are extremely competitive and affordable. We have used them twice now. The driver Paz stayed with us all day and patiently fit in a cafe stop when we arrived early, transported us from the church across town to the cemetery and then back to Bingley for refreshments. “Just returned from a holiday to Torquay had a lovely 5 days at the Devonshire Hotel .The staff are really friendly with nothing too much trouble, the room was comfortable, clean and warm, and plenty of choice on the menu and the meals are all self service which I prefer. Although the hotel is on a hill the bus stops are right outside the hotel door and across the road .We had Barry excellent driver and a lovely man.”

“I had a great experience at the Royal Victoria, so far the best (chain) hotel I've stayed at in Sheffield. The staff were professional and friendly, and whilst the lobby are and hallways are showing their age a little, the room was absolutely lovely. It was well-equipped and modern, as well as light and airy (we had a corner room). One note: it is located on top of a very busy road, and though the windows are quite good at blocking the noise, if you're a light sleeper then perhaps bring earplugs to be on the safe side. I had some with me but forgot to put them in and still slept great. The advantage is that you're within 15mins walk of the train station, and the same distance from Kelham Island and the city centre!”

“Huge arcade section as soon as you walk in and air conditioned which is a life saver on a hot day like today. Lady behind the desk was friendly with a smile and had good manners. Even have vip sections to sit in on specific lanes which is cool, large dining area with a bar also. The lanes are well lit and fun to play on, can order food and drinks to your lane also by simply scanning the qr code”

“I had a truly delightful experience staying at premier inn (Angel Street). Whilst staying here I thought I would have a few drinks in the bar, there was one member of staff, Samantha Marsden, she was so friendly, so helpful, made my experience so very easy for me. Every question I asked her, she had the answer too, she took the time to make sure everything was ok. I had a very pleasant time, always had a smile on her face, always doing something weather that was cleaning or taking pots to the back and bring new ones back, she was always on her toes. Very professional, punctual and just an all round kind, helpful young lady. I would definitely recommend staying here again. Thank you Samantha for making my stay so pleasant.”

“If I could give this place more stars I would as it in my opinion deserves it. Very friendly reception staff. Wheelchair accessible throughout the entire building. . The room is very clean and made up well with coffee and tea facilities. Rooms are cleaned for you daily with fresh bedding and towels. The bathroom is amazing and modern with a lovely power shower. Included in the price is a free breakfast whether you want a cooked breakfast or a choice of cereals and fruit, plus free coffee or fruit juice and you can eat as much as you wish to. It has a well stocked bar along with a extremely high quality menu at a very reasonable price. Plus a choice of snacks should you miss the restaurant times. All in all the Holiday Inn Express in Sheffield far surpasses its 3 Star rating and I will definitely be staying there again and I would highly recommend it for both families and romantic couples .
