“Excellent service from Barrhead Travel in Newcastle, especially Chloe. We received great advice and efficient service. Chloe was friendly and helpful whenever we had a query. Thankyou.”
“We have booked our holiday to Canada next year with Julie. She has been fantastic - her knowledge, enthusiasm and overall willingness to make sure we get what we want has been superb. Great service and can’t wait until next year!”
“What a Fantastic Trip. 'Scandavian Capitals by Train' Regent Travel put all the framework in place, sorted all the logistics which meant we could have a super time...(Oh and Regent did throw in a couple of extras that we would not have found..' of course they did)”
“I can’t rate this branch in Shrewsbury high enough. They are amazing especially Steve. I just ring up, give my details, dates and times etc and Steve just does all the work for me with an end result of me having a holiday booked with no stress at all. The help received is above and beyond and I can ring anytime if I’m not sure of anything. So thank you Worldchoice travel Shrewsbury for all your help. If ever you want the stress taken out of booking a holiday then this is the place to go.”
“We use Longton, and this time have dealt with Tara. She was brilliant, we gave her our budget and an idea of what we wanted and she did the rest. I have no issue in recommending Polka Dot especially the Longton Branch xx”
“This was a great Holiday Inn to stay in to break up a journey from the north to tge south. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff on reception and the food area were extremely helpful. I was struggling to open a packet of cereal, a member of staff noticed, went to the kitchen to get scissors and swiftly returned to open the packet for me. I would highly recommend this Holiday Inn, it is very good value.”
“Clean and modern bus and overall lovely drivers couldn't have done more to help us! Thank you”
“Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Quick to respond with details and advice.”
“I stayed in the Eagle's Nest apartment while workng for a week in Stafford, only 15-20 minutes away. Helen and Andy have curated a wonderful old building into a delightful combination of B&B plus the flat. I had a warm welcome (the B&B bit - so much better than a code and a lockbox) with the offer of a complementary home made flapjack on my arrival. I was shown up to the flat and around it, so that all thereafter was simple. Helen is enthusiastic about the house and its history and was a great host - the welcoming bowl of fruit and biscuits is always a nice touch. Plenty to do in and around Eccleshall and Helen showed me to a 5K into the countryside from the house that I did a couple of times. Pubs and food in Eccleshall. Give it a go.”
“Stayed here 3 times and every time it’s been perfect. Well priced, clean and good service. My only hope would be for more healthy breakfast alternatives like porridge”
“Very enjoyable. Looked for somewhere just to go away for a night. Great service, brilliant staff. Breakfast has kept me going all day! Thank You”
“Needed hotel as visiting family near by, this was in an excellent location. Alsager is a lovely town, we visited a lovely bakers and had a lovely lunch. Also pubs and couple of restaurants nearby for evening meals. If you like national trust, there's a quaint place called Little Morton Hall worth a visit. The hotel was run by lovely people, and the breakfast can't be faulted. We will definitely stay there again”
“Last minute decision to eat out this evening and fancied a curry. Narvana had been recommended previously by a work colleague. We weren't disappointed. The restaurant was clean and atmospheric, the food was beautiful and fresh with plenty of flavour, not over powered with spices. Portions were bigger than expected, and the naan bread appeared to be homemade which is a rarity. The service was efficient, polite and attentive without being obtrusive. Highly recommended.”
“Amazing sunrise experience from Tissington today. We booked 2 years ago and having had 12 failed attempts (due to unsettled weather) it was most definitely worth the wait. I would like to say thank you for the 12 cancellations (bet you don’t get that often haha!) as it means you have put our safety first which I massively appreciate! This company’s Knowledgeable and friendly staff made the flight memorable and provided an overall fantastic experience from booking stage to the flight going ahead! Thank you again, we can’t wait to book again!”
“Would recommend staying here, rooms were comfortable with everything in including delicious flap jacks. Breakfast prepared us all for the day ahead supplied by a friendly helpful owner. Will definitely use if in that area again.”
“Awesome, informative and great fun. We thought we knew Shrewsbury but found out so much more. A really great experience and highly recommended.”
“Came to Bridge Farm with my brother on Saturday 1st July 23 and we both had a big breakfast with coffee, mine vg which was made perfect thank you. I just wanted to say the food was amazing and the atmosphere too. I cant wait to come back and try the eggs benny!”
“Perfect for parties and family gatherings”
“Extremely interesting house packed full of history”
“Amazing stay in the most beautiful little place. We loved having a little home from home out in the countryside. Would highly recommend!”
“I didn't actually stay here but from the fantastic review from friends I picked up, they were over the moon with what was available for them, the children didn't stop, zip wire, endless list of equipment and each of the 14 rooms had a tv with fire sticks for Netflix etc, inside was a mac and computer games, loads of board games and also the hot tub was ready for arrival, massive bbq, large tables for a big family get together. Brilliant by the look of it.”
“Stayed here for a week for a business trip. The rooms were excellent as were the staff. On the last night we experienced a power cut which was out of the hotels control. They moved us to a different hotel which was made very easy by the hotel manager. The staff were brilliant and handled the whole situation. It would have been understandable with so many people to deal with if someone lost their rag. But everyone remained calm. Fantastic staff. Would very highly recommend”
“Obviously not a 5* hotel but everything about this hotel was excellent. A large FREE car park with disabled parking bays. A friendly receptionist greeted us. Our bedroom was large with plenty of room for a wheelchair and a wetroom with a shower seat. There was a kettle with tea and coffee to make a brew. Everything was clean and smart. Only a few steps away was a restaurant for an evening meal and breakfast. Also on the small estate was a petrol station, coffee shop and a well stocked small supermarket. Highly recommended if you need to stop over in the area or visiting Shrewsbury.”
