βI was rushed in Doncaster royal infirmary with prostate, bladder issues, I spent five days there my treatment was excellent. Later I needed an operation on prostate, green Lazer surgery my treatment was exemplary. Now roll on a few months my wife now a dying person was taken to Doncaster royal infirmary. The ambulance service for my wife was no more than, callous indifferent, and deplorable, for a person that was dying. My wife was in hospital for one week before she passed on. THE HOSPITAL DID THEIR BEST for her , last week alive. Now I sat with my wife for the last 37 hours of her life and not once did the hospital offer any form of refreshment, I had to go down 3 flights of stairs to a vending machine. No problem. But what was unpleasant was that when my wife died I went for a nurse who promptly came , saw my wife had died from that moment not one person from the medical profession offered any form of condolence. I was completely ignored. They offered no help whatsoever. I waited for a doctor to confirm my wife's time of death he never came, after waiting a half hour.I had no option but to leave, not very caring.β
βI have been with Clifton surgery for years and have never had any problems at all . The reception staff are lovely ,the GP,s and nurses great . I work at a different surgery in Rotherham not connected to Clifton and totally understand some of the frustration and anger the patients encounter , the waiting times for calls, the lack of appointments to offer and having to use the online services. Unfortunately this is the NHS. and surgeries have little choice when things change. We can't go back to the old ways queuing up in the morning , demanding an appointment with a particular gp.for a sniffle. It upsets alot of patients but im sure Clifton surgery is doing its best to help everyone at a difficult time. It is not the receptionists fault if there are no appointments left or they ask you what the appointment is for, it is to make sure you see the right clinician. Due to some people wanting an appointment a minor cough, cold, sore throat that they only had a couple of days, or hay fever or back pain that a pharmacist or physio can deal with is one of the reasons there are no appointments left for you or your family the genuine unwell patient. In addition to this the people who book appointments and do not attend anyway! again they are wasting an appointment that could be yours. This is across the whole of the Nhs GPS and hospitals . Clifton medial centre are trying their best to help everyone.please have a little more understanding, they are doing the best to help you ! Keep up the good work Clifton .β
βHonestly, this school is the best in Mansfield and probably the best in Nottinghamshire (excluding the private rich snobs) In my opinion it can't be much better except maybe they could invest in an ice-cream machine. That would great.β

βOutwood Academy Valley is an excellent school with respectable students and staff. They are very helpful in many different fields and are excellent at what they do. The teachers are professionals and couldn't do a better job. There are always negative comments about this academy but most of the time those comments are made by parents who most likely have a child that misbehaves and is constantly getting in trouble and receiving detentions. Also I noticed that people have commented that you would be safer in prisons but as a matter of fact this school is extremely safe. They have a school Police Officer that upholds the law to the good standards that any Officer would and he works their every school day. He is friendly and approachable just like the teachers. As well as this the school has a brilliant Senior Leadership Team (SLT), and a Learning Manager for each year. The learning Managers are always there if needed and are there to support the students throughout their 5 years at this school. The rules may be strict but they are reasonable and not hard to follow. Another comment that I saw was about a student fainting on a hot day in the hallways. Firstly, the school has a First Aid room in the building with a highly trained First Aider on hand if this is to happen, and secondly, the school does have a strict but fair set of rules on school uniform which is to deter students from discrimination. The students are allowed to take their blazers off in the classrooms and if authorised by the Principal, in the hallways and outside on extremely hot days. Overall, this is a brilliant academy which does literally put 'Students First' and respects all students and staff equally.β
βI only went to this school for a year and half. Teachers are so helpful as they encouraged me to follow my dreams no matter how difficult it is. They are so careful about students. I went to this school without knowing any English at all! With all teachers help I came out with 8 GCSEs. However they care so much about how students look.β
βI called in on behalf of my father - staff were very busy ....but I was attended to by KRISTY - she couldn't have been more kind or helpful. She checked and advised me ,that with my Father's medication ,to choose a liquid heartburn/indigestion rather than tablets - which contain sodium. One happy shopper, one very grateful recipient of purchase . Thank you againβ
βToday I rang the doctors to request an appointment. Through anima the receptionist, called Andy, processed my complex request with efficiency, care, kindness and respect. He went above and beyond to assist me with my request. I am grateful for Andy's professional and pleasant approach. Thank you very much.β
