βI Was undergraduate there 1982β
βExcellent friendly place to learn Salsa with well structured classes from beginners upwards...β
βWhat a fantastic "community" of people! I didn't want to say business because above all they believe in the power of what they are teaching and the way Forest Schools can impact education across Britain (and the world). Their training was second to none... I expected days on how to make dens and daisy chains, but instead they presented a thoroughly researched pedagogy coupled with practical skills and a desire to help children grow and mature. I recommend this organisation highly!β
βHad some great times at this school, sad to be leaving it.β
βAmazing education there however the only downside is the students who treat it like a normal secondary school this is not a normal school but they do not see that it is a good school.β
βI did access to science courses, I truly enjoyed it. Brian Jackson is the best teacher. Help is there available. The Access course in Sheffield college was the best decision I made.β
βGreat session with Lee. Very talented speaking coach and is really effective at allowing students to develop their crucial communication skills, both at work and in their personal lives.β
βBooked in with Ian to have a DJ taster session with my partner. Ian is very friendly and personable, making you feel at ease from the start. It is apparent that he highly knowledgeable and passionate about his work. Very patient, a great teacher and can cater the session based on the equipment and software that you may have previously used. I would highly recommend if you are interested in learning how to DJ/mix.β
βI have been wanting to join a dance class for a while now as I have always loved and been interested in Dancing and wanted to do something for me being a Mummy. My sister in law told me about Velvet Burlesque and how much she enjoyed it but i still put it off for a good while as i wasn't confident enough to sign myself up for it, basically making excuses but I finally did and was so nervous when the day came but Lara instantly made me feel so welcome and relaxed as soon as i walked through the door, she kept checking up on me throughout to ensure I was ok. Lara is a really friendly and lovely person and her teaching and encouragement is the best...trust the process! I am so glad I made the decision to join, the atmosphere is fab and it's boosted my confidence, I love it and look forward to going every week.β
βBest Music school for all age. Drum's classes by Ian West himself. And he is a legend today. We love everything about it.β
βOur local, local theatre. Saw a musical performance there on Saturday and returning on Friday for a Halloween comedy night. What fancy dress? A great little venue with a touring roster and the home crew.β
βWe hired Tickhill Alpacas for our Wedding in August 2025 and they truly made it a special day. Alan and Lenny stole the show and all our guests loved them! If you are looking for something unique and special, I would highly recommend hiring them for your special day. Karen organised every detail we required and Dean was on hand on the day with any questions anyone had about the Alpacas. A great experience all round!β
βExcellent! My daughter has been dancing at Dance Unlimited since she was 3. She enjoys it so much her little sister also wanted to go and has also been there since she was 3. The children really enjoy learning to dance in a fun friendly atmosphere that is relaxed and in no way competitive. Miss Becky and her team are really friendly and helpful. They really connect with the kids and can bring the most timid of children out of their shells. Lots of opportunities for the children to shine during shows, and parent watching weeks every term. We tried a few dance schools before we made a decision and Dance Unlimited was by far the best!β
βA great venue and very family-friendly. Staff always so amiable and helpful. The theatre is modern, sleek and in a great setting. We've been to a few shows now, and always been keen to return.β
βIf you love wandering round historical buildings, this is definitely of interest to you. A little 'hamlet' of buildings full of amazing 'scythe ' making history. An introduction video, worksheets for children, small exhibition area and then the hamlet, waterwheel, traction engine and reservoir to see. This is a free entry museum, with a suggested donation of Β£5 - worth every penny. A cafe/restaurant (independent) on site. Parking (no height barrier) and toilets. Really really friendly and informative guides here. Couldn't be more enthusiastic. Also a great guy making sword blades, again, really informative and friendly. Most certainly bringing my 13 yr old grandson here, he'll love it.β
βGreat dance classes and teachers. Definitely recommend if your looking for a dance class for your childrenβ
βDaniel & Emma weβre fantastic at facilitating a whole day of Boogie Bounce at our school. Very professional set up and delivery. The children (and staff!) loved every session and we canβt wait to do it. Thank you for a brilliant day!β
βWe drove all the way from Dinnington to watch Cinderella and I would like to say well done to everyone the singing was really good and I didn't expect such brilliant singing & talent at your little Theatre. We was certainly well entertainedβ
βWe took our son to Marsden Martial Arts to help him with his confidence and temper control. I'm happy to say we have seen a great deal of improvement already. Over the past year with the pandemic Marsden have continued to have excellent communication, keeping in touch to ensure he's doing okay and checking if he's having any issues with the online videos. The Sensei's and staff are always polite and helpful and they really do take an interest in your child's development. I'm very happy my son joined Marsden and I would highly recommend them to anybody .β
βMy partner and I visited this today, set next to a wonderful looking quarry, very picturesque, great trails to hike, and a decent array of places to eat and drink. I would have liked to have seen it at night as well and this is supposedly a wonder to behold. I am sure we will be revisiting again to see it all lit up.β
βLovely little place, loads of cute animals, good cafe with lots of dinner optionsβ
βSaw Men at Arms here and was thoroughly impressed. The venue was great, I saw at least one person in a wheelchair so whilst I didn't see an accessible entry there must have been one. The seat size was okay, measurements were either on the website or quickly provided by email and the seat arms were moveable, which I particularly liked as it gave a little more room.β
βI gave it 5 stars based on atmosphere and friendly staff The theatre is obviously struggling for finances but it is delightfulβ
βA hidden gem in the heart of Nether Edge. A small theatre but this fits perfectly within it's idyllic setting.β
βBrill club. Friday rock nights are good.β
βLovely museum. Very nicely kept and the timepieces are wonderful. Recommend listening to the talk about voice clocks.β
βLots of big high ceilings Well designed as a community space. Little or no storage for any groups using the place on a regular basis.β
βMy girls have been coming here since they were 2 years old. This isnβt just a dance school, EPA is a family where the teachers love our children and everyone who attends looks after one another. They are learning what it means to love Dancing, to work hard, to lose, win and most of all support everyone around them. Be there for each other. Thank you for welcoming us into the EPA family and always being there β€οΈβ
βIβve been going to Ingle Boxing Gym my whole life, and itβs truly like a second home to me. This gym isnβt just about boxing β itβs about community, discipline, and growth. From day one, the coaches have been dedicated, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping every boxer reach their full potential. The atmosphere is always full of energy and motivation. Whether youβre a beginner learning the basics or a seasoned fighter sharpening your skills, everyone is treated with respect and encouragement. The training is tough but rewarding, and it builds not just strength and stamina, but also confidence and character. What really makes Ingle Boxing Gym special is the sense of family. The people here push each other to be better every single day inside and outside the ring. Itβs a place where hard work, respect, and passion come together. Iβm proud to say Iβve spent my life training here, and I wouldnβt trade it for anything.β
