“We had a great stay at the Ibis Budget. For a budget hotel, the rooms were great, with good bathrooms. Lovely bar area. Good food and drink. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Good location for everything we wanted to do. The Moor car park is a little bit of a walk with luggage but we brought the car to the back of the hotel which made it easy. Thanks to all the team.”

The hotel is very beautiful, its architecture and plant-instalations. The location is amazing, it’s next to a beautiful church and square with a water fountain and water sculptures. You can walk to all needed places : museums, theatre, shopping and restaurants. It’s has a winter garden , a terrace , it’s really amazing place to book. Definitely recommend.”

“I broke down recently in the middle of Sheffield rush hour with the car battery completely dead, not even hazard lights working - I presume the alternator has given up the ghost. Given I was blocking traffic and no way of moving the car, panic was starting to set in. I’d seen the Mount Pleasant trucks around town so thought I’d nothing to lose. Amazingly, I got straight through on the phone and arranged for collection within the hour at sensible money. The guys who arrived were polite, helpful and professional. I never usually fill these surveys in but my relief at seeing the recovery truck can’t be put into words. Great service and would happily recommend.”

“Recently stayed for two nights, whilst trading at an event at the Lincoln showground. A small, but very comfortable and clean room, with everything needed, including good wifi. Very friendly hosts, who did earlier than normal breakfasts for us, as we needed an early start. Breakfast was lovely, good choice, plentiful and cooked perfectly. Highly recommended.”

Bought Resiblock oil remover it certainly works I had a metre square ugly black mark and now after two complete applications just a few tiny residual spots left I hope to use the left over to treat them one by one. Pic 1 I forgot to take a before pic this is where the block mark is drying quicker than the sorrounding area pic 2 is what's left after first treatment pic 3 is after the 2nd treatment. I included a stock pic of a similar mark to mine.”

With things like cars, where I know little about how to repair anything more than a light bulb, I rely on the honesty of the mechanics to advise me what repairs need doing and to price fairly and competitively for the work. Even though we’ve moved further away from the garage, I still take our cars there instead of a more local garage as I feel the standard of work is very good. Generally, all the staff are helpful.
