“Lovely place to stay! Super nice staff, clean, comfy and you have a great view out the window. Also a full english breakfast is included and you can get either by bus or by taxi cheap and quick into town. Would definitely recommend!”

Room wasn't quite ready as we were a little early so he managed to find us one that was ready - rooms very clean tidy and comfortable would recommend anyone coming to the area to stay here .”

Asking if I need any help getting anything down from heights or if I want to order a size to store which they don't have in stock. There is a great range of clothes to choose from, I'd buy almost anything if I could afford it because I find the quality is very good.”

“After a shorter stay at Corner House last year, my partner and I had such an outstanding experience of the services that we chose to come back to Sheffield just to stay here again! This gorgeous little house is nestled in one of the leafiest corners of the city and was an amble from the botanical gardens, so we really enjoyed the neighbourhood. Our room was so spacious and clean and warm- I was very impressed by how far our money went. Louise, who was our contact for anything accommodation related, was incredibly responsive and proactive, as well as being a lovely person. I will absolutely come back to visit and cannot recommend Corner House enough.”

“I stayed for just one night and was pleasantly surprised. The room was spotlessly clean, the bed was really comfortable, and everything felt well looked after. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made a great first impression. Although there were a couple of minor issues, they didn’t impact my stay at all. It was a warm night, so I had the window open and could occasionally smell smoke from people on the balcony – not a problem for me, but something to be aware of if you’re sensitive to that. Also, the power to the sockets tripped at some point overnight, but I didn’t need to use them in the morning so it wasn’t an issue for me. Overall, I had a great experience and would happily stay again. It definitely exceeded my expectations!”

“If you come here for luxury you’re coming to the wrong place. BUT: It’s a budget hotel with a bar attached next to a bus and train station. The rooms do what they say on the tin and most staff are excellent. The rooms are clean; the bar is good, the TVs work (mostly), the WiFi isn’t the best but name a hotel that has excellent WiFi. There’s good connections to travel and it’s next to the bustling town of Mansfield (you know that excellent town) It is worth noting that some of the clientele aren’t great and if you’re there for 37 days (like I was) it’s a challenge. But the staff made the stay, and the hotel is not at all that bad. In fact for the price and if your expectations are right it will exceed them all. Thank you for a good stay.”
