“One of the best garden centres we have found. Their plants are extremely good quality, great choice and amazing staff. We needed a tree delivering and although we are out of their delivery area they still brought it through for us, with a smile. It'll now be the centre piece of our garden and we're looking forward to the spring when we can go and find the rest of the much needed planting. The Bistro is also exceptional and comfortable with great food and the staff are absolutely lovely. The photo is of our lovely Acer Armstrong waiting to be planted up at home.”

“Had a gate & screen made & fitted by this company first Mick gave me a very competitive quote for the job to be carried out On fitting day Tom & Adam arrived to fit the gate & screen on the time given both were very polite & respectful & got on with the job in hand. Once fitted the gate & screen looked excellent & we where well pleased with the results they are very robust with no maintenance work to be carried out in the future & I have all ready had compliments from my neighbours regarding how nice they look . Would recommend this company if you are looking for composite work to be undertaken.”

“My front upvc door mechanism failed. I know nothing about this sort of thing and after being let down by two locksmiths and another quoting me over £300 i thought i'd have a go myself. So i dismantled it all (8 screws), found this store online and visited them taking all the bits with me. They replaced the broken part for me and within 30 mins my front door was working perfectly again. Amazing service and I totally reccomend them and will use them again. Very happy. :)”

“I was extremely satisfied and very impressed with the service I have received from Fairfax & Porter. I was looking for a new toilet and taps for our cloakroom. I particularly wanted Thomas Crapper toilet, and I found Fairfax & Porter to be one of their retailers. Jayne made the whole process extremely easy: she took care of my entire order, and sourced the taps I was struggling to find for the basin. I found her extremely professional, totally reliable and easy to communicate with. She has also arranged a plumber to complete the job and he was absolutely brilliant. “We are a small football club based in Buckinghamshire, from the first phone call i made the customer service has been brilliant. After several months of research we decided that the 11 aside goals with wheels was what we wanted. We ordered them in August and they arrived in September. However after two weeks i noticed that the paint was flaking off the goals in a couple of areas. I rang ITSA Goal expecting a battle however the response I got was amazing within 3 mins Andrew had organised a new set of goals immediately, and we have had no issues since. I would highly recommend ITS A Goal to anyone buying these product because of the customer service has been 5 star and the product is so well built its beyond our expectations. We are buying some 9v9 goals next year and we will be going to ITSA Goal for them. Very highly recommended!! Great product and fantastic customer service.”

“Were with them for three years and we were given great service. Issues (leaky washing machine, re-grouting of bathroom, ect.) were usually resolved the same day or the next. They communicated well, and offered flexible payments for my housemates. The houses were in good condition, too. Good value for money. They knew us by name and were always pleasant, and when looking for a new place they knew the style of house we were looking for based on our previous one and delivered. When we deemed the sofas and one of the beds in the new place were in a poor condition they coordinated with the property owner and had them replaced within a few days with nice ones. I would definitely recommend them.”

“Great place to come and fill the van up with DIY gear.. And that's the problem.... Sheffield Council will start charging me £10 just to come to your shop.. They're implementing a clean air zone, and if your vehicle doesn't meet their new standards, you'll be charged £10 per van, £50 per truck. Sorry to say but we'll be using out of town DIY stores from now on.. Good luck for the future..”
