“We came for Sunday lunch to meet up with the family. The sunday lunch was good and plenty of it, the lamb kebabs were also very good. Service was great and the staff friendly and attentive. We will definitely be coming here again and would highly recommend. It is also in a very beautiful part of the country.”

“We had the "Small English Breakfast". Food was well cooked, in generous portions and quickly served by very friendly staff. Having eaten the "Small" option, it was hard to imagine how big the "Large" plateful is!! I doubt that either of us could have cleared our plates if we'd ordered the Large!! Highly recommended cafe and we will certainly be back soon!”

“We had a fantastic time in here over the weekend for a retirement do and whilst visiting family. The drinks were perfect, well prepared with expert service behind the bar from staff who were friendly and offered great advice on what went with what. The food was delicious and I would highly recommend whether for a quick visit or a longer evening in. We'll be back!”

“Forgot to take pics of the main food, but it was delicious. Gluten free garlic bread with vegan cheese and green olives to start, shared between 2. Then the veg pizza on a gf base with vegan cheese and a side of coleslaw, whilst my companion left the chicken off his pizza and just had ham and mushroom. They actually have desserts which are both vegan and gf, though sadly by then I was too full, though choc brownie with ice cream was enjoyed by my companion. I asked for a decaf, oat or soya latte, and the server, a delightful young chap named Jack, had to nip next door for the milk as they were out, which he not only did with a smile, but comped me the coffee because I had to wait. The restaurant is overlooking the pool and it's an oasis of calm in the evening, very soothing to look at. Delicious food, great service with a smile and fantastic attitude, plus a lovely view. 100% recommend.”

“Fantastic night out. Great variety of crowd pleasing songs that never fail to get people singing along. Relaxed atmosphere means that you’re always comfortable and ready to get on the benches for a dance. Friendly staff who can never do enough to make sure you have the best possible experience in the venue. Live music on a Friday and Saturday keep things exciting as well as nights with things such as quizzes, bingo and live meet and greets means that there will never be a dull night. Wide variety of spirits as well as the house cocktails which never fail to impress. 10/10 would recommend.”

“Me and my friend did karaoke here and the workers were so sweet. They let us have an extra 15 mins for free so we could re take a video on the machine. Amy is an absolute sweetheart from the moment we came in. And Pete S is (I assume) a manager who let us have more time in the kareoke booth. They're so sweet I hope to see them again.”

“This is a really pretty pub that me and my friend enjoyed visiting, further welcoming us with the interior design! It is vintage and also has worthy additions on the walls, the staff were friendly and the counter is well-presented. I enjoyed a pint of Carling, seating is comfortable and the prices are solid!”

“Great little Aladdin's Cave style music shop, great selection of instruments and amps downstairs. Upstairs large selection of vinyl and some CDs. Could have spent hours looking through them all, generally well organised, good selection of reasonably priced new and used vinyl and some rarer items with higher but competitive price tags. Held back and just bought one Queen and Adam Lambert EP this time but will be back.”

“Visited on a weeknight, plenty of seating, friendly atmosphere and bar staff, enjoyed loaded nachos, which was a generous portion, it came hot and was very tasty and a burger with soft drinks, ordered via the QR code on the table, food came quickly. There are screens everywhere that had sports showing, so if you're easily distracted this one's not for you! The venue is accessible by a flight of stairs but the is a wheelchair lift.”

“Great pub/bar in Mexborough with loads of drink choices at very reasonable prices e.g. 6 bottles of Bud in an ice bucket for £14 (as of March 2024). Loads of seating, both inside and out with snooker and pool tables available, as well as a DJ on weekends. ☆☆☆☆☆”

“Me and my boyfriend had the best time today spending time with the sweetest cats that call this cafe home! They’re extremely well looked after, love interacting with customers and are very clearly loved by the volunteer members of staff. We also ate at the cafe afterwards where we had the most amazing homemade pizza - wish I had taken a photo before we finished it. Overall, had an amazing time. So wonderful to hear about the work they do here and will definitely be visiting again in the future.”
