“Fantastic yard all round. Horses lovely and treated like the royalty they are. I treated my husband to the 2 hour carriage driving experience recently, and it was amazing. Hubby loves horses but doesn't ride, and is a keen but slightly nervous novice, who has always wanted to have a go. Right from the start Gail was amazing. She is incredibly skilled and knowledgeable, and really put him at ease. She also has an excellent sense of humour and really looked after him. Rio the cob was beautiful and really looked after us. The session was structured really well, starting with an introduction to the carriage type & history. Next we learned about harnessing up, then it was time to venture out! We had a lovely drive around Creswell Crags, with Gail being a patient & skilled teacher. As soon as we left, Hubby said "I want to do that again!" Thank you Coloured Cob!”

Our daughters’ developments have excelled in every possible way. The children thrive in such a loving warm environment where they know they can safely express themselves. They are given tools to be able to explain thoughts and feelings. The nursery uses positive reinforcement strategies such as ‘George pigs promises’ I absolutely love the structure of the nursery. The nursery has had such a positive impact on my children but also myself as a parent. At the end of each day we are given a detailed handover about what our children have eaten and done throughout the day. It is clear to see that all the staff love the work they do and genuinely have the best interests of the children at heart. We will soon be moving a fair distance from paper moon day nursery however, we will be going out of our way to keep our daughter at Paper Moon Day Nursery purely on the basis that I would be concerned with no other setting would be able to compare to the high standard of care and the safe environment the staff at paper moon provide. I have a 6 and 3 year old who both have the same teacher, can't give her enough credit for her patience and encouragement especially with the younger one! The kids love their lessons and look forward to them every week and that speaks for itself xx”
