Our dogs are always made super welcome and are often spoilt with a little treat. Great place. Lisa made me a vegan birthday cake last week and it was so good no one realised it was plant based! “We recently visited the Indus restaurant for a family event used their function room and it couldn't have been better, spacious, beautifully decorated, and the service was exceptional, staff went above and beyond. Having used Indus previously the quality of the food is always on point and was no exception this time. Everyone who attended commented on how fantastic the food and setting were. “Arrived too early to attend local church fete so called in for cup of tea. Had a great brew served by a friendly assistant. Yorkshire tea in a Yorkshire mug served by a Yorkshire lady. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will come to this cafe again.”

“What a treat! We had never heard of this place until today, we booked for 5.30 and were welcomed with the most delicious smell of meats smoking. Firstly we sampled cider to see which we wanted to drink, we chose the peach then We had the pit tray and the tapas for 1, both came out after about ten minute wait and what a treat it was! Hot Smokey Crispy meats more than you can eat. We shall be back very soon with a few extra people to show them what we have all been missing! The staff went all out for us tonight and made us feel really welcome thank you!”

“With a tap selection that is on rotation its a nice surprise to find a new taste each week. The platter boards and honey sausages are lovely. They have regular evening events with karaoke, Greek and Curry nights, live music etc. The Laura and Paul are very knowledgable about any beer related questions you have and are constantly on the search for the next barrel to bring in. Also dog friendly - but they are only allowed the biscuits due to licensing laws.”

“I really liked it here . Came too celebrate my birthday and I was given a free birthday cake. The food here was really good and tender. It looked so nice with all the Christmas decorations up and the person serving us was nice too so I've had a great time. Would definitely recommend”

“If you want a great meat dish and have money to spare, this restaurant could be a good choice. We ordered nachos as a starter and asked for extra brisket on top. It was a very good choice. The main course was truly legendary. The meat was cooked to perfection and was very juicy. Unfortunately, the desserts were weak, but we can overlook that :)”

“Visited several times for meals always cooked to perfection. Sunday lunch did not disappoint the pork just melted in my mouth. All the vegetables are fresh and served piping hot. Would definitely recommend. Staff are welcoming, friendly and nothing too much trouble”

“We celebrated our 70th birthday with cooked meals for 21 family members and not a complaint from any one. Meals came out together as fast as they could be carried through from kitchen. We always enjoy our meals when we call in about once a week, but a little worried about us all getting our orders correct, We needent have worried, every thing was top notch, nice and hot. The chef even catered for one that is gluten intolerant, one with a nut allergy but a quick word with the chef and all sorted. The orders ranged from pie n peas, fish n chips, steaks, T.Bone steaks, mixed grills, chicken fajitas and my very own favourite smothered chicken. We were a very happy crowd and all satisfied at the end of the evening. The bar is always in tip top condition with beers as they should be. Thank you for making it memorable. WE WILL BE BACK.”

“I attended my cousins 60th birthday party , the venue is spacious and immaculately clean. Plenty of bar staff .The food is exceptional a hot and cold buffet with plenty of choice and even if you are a fussy eater I'm sure that you wouldn't be disappointed. The hosts Paul and Jeanine were on hand .There is also a stage to accommodate live music that we all enjoyed.We all had an enjoyable and memorable evening .”

“Second time we’ve been since the new owners and it’s been fabulous on both occasions. Such a variety on the menu so there is something for everyone and the kids menu is great too. “We only had drinks. There is plenty of inside and outside space and seating. Service was fast. Card payments are accepted. It's very clean, including the toilets. I would definitely go again. My friends had non alcoholic drinks, which were a bit overpriced. Parking behind the building has a lot of space but is on a slope, so not really accessible for people with disabilities.”
