“Order from Lotties quite regularly as I work in the town centre and it’s by far the best place for breakfast cobs! Cob sized and quality is very good value for money! However their other items on the menu are equally as good, super tasty and the 3 cheese triple cheese toasty is a must try, the best toastie I’ve ever had!”

“Recently came and visited with my daughter where we sat in the Lakeside calf and had a breakfast together. I'd have to say ordering the food was very, very slow and could have been quicker, but overall the staff are really friendly. The food was really nice and the atmosphere was fantastic. We sat outside where we could see other anglers fishing. It was a beautiful sunny day and it was just really really nice. I highly do recommend if you're not fishing even if you pop down there to have a breakfast or some food”

“Great service always with a smile. One of the most hospitable group of staff you could wish to meet. As you would expect can be a little busy and noisy at times but which cafe isn't. Haven't seen Matt for some weeks. Hope he hasn't left. However, that's not to take anything away from the other staff members, as they are a pleasure to be served by.”

“My friends and I went for a cooked breakfast. We had to wait as it was all cooked fresh but it was delicious. I picked up a cheese scone on the way out as they looked amazing but didn't get round to eating it until 3 days later, it was gorgeous. Can't wait until I go back. Thank you.”

“I love this place and try to visit once a week. They’re only open Friday-Sunday but if you’re in Crookes it’s perfect for a late breakfast or lunch. Prices are fair and service is friendly and quick.”

“Lovely little café selling hot drinks, cakes and breakfast/brunch. The staff were really nice and helpful! They also have good vegan options, which I really appreciate, especially for such a small town café :) The flapjack was good — not too sugar-y like many flapjacks are. Couldn’t resist also getting some handmade earrings from the range of art/crafts/food gifts on sale.”

“Had my hair done today by the lovely millie, my hair hadn't been done for a long while so was a bit of a mess but millie sorted it out and now it looks absolutely beautiful and much more to my taste. Such a welcoming salon all the ladies seem lovely and chatty I'm not much of a talker but I felt at ease and comfortable no awkwardness. Plenty of cups of teas nothing to much trouble would definitely recommend and will be coming back :) this will now be my regular salon for all my hair needs. Thank you millie x”
