“Today 01 12 2025 I visited Tesco store in the swan centre Eastleigh I needed to cash in my vouchers on my phone well I got in a bit of a pickle I asked a lovely lady called Nicola who showed me how to do it for this I'm very grateful . “This is an excellent co-op. I would go so far as to say that it is world leading in distribution of supermarket goods. It is a very pleasant change from other, less good shops to arrive in this, a very good shop. I recommend visitting this shop to witness its glory with your own seeing eyes.”

“This is our local shop plenty of chilled products for convenience dinners pizza, fresh pasta, quiches, selection of frozen foods and canned products. They also have an isle with medicines, baby supplies, cleaning and washing products. Meal deals available for lunch and a full isle of alcoholic and soft drinks. Usually plenty of deals available with a club card. Also ample parking and an ATM with free cash withdrawals.”

“A great shop, great staff. Very friendly and attentive to anyone that needed help. Great reliable shop for your delivery packages, food or accessories, open majority of the day, easily accessible and very very friendly security who were very helpful and certious towards everyone. Easy to find what you need, and simple layout was just stupendous for my eyes to check of they have everything what I needed which they did.10/10 would reccomend this store to anyone in needed in a quick shop. Prices are fair, and gas is relitively cheap, excellent customer service and reliability, very warm and welcoming colleagues. Open 6am-12pm so open pretty much whenever you need and also deliver on deliveroo which I'd very helpful. Products are all very fresh and nice.”

“Work down the road so visit 5 times a week, the morning staff are all so lovely and work so hard! they are always running around but never complaining and always help customers in need. great selection of to-go lunch available! would be great to get self serve tills though as sometimes the ques can be quite long. Please never get ride of myhermes collection it is so useful! :)”

“Absolutely shocked at the blatant lies said about this establishment and its proprietor. I've been frequenting this shop for over 6 years now and have only experienced a helpful family man who is forever smiling. Of his prices, I have no idea. I have never looked because it doesn't matter. I know if I found an item cheaper elsewhere, I would still choose Portswood Road Premier every time. Come in, say "hello", pretend your mother bothered to raise you right and keep your manners.”

“Since finding the local one stop I have become somewhat of a frequent shopper. Staff are always friendly and helpful, and they stock a variety of good quality produce. My first visit brought me to the store in search of the post office for to send something through the royal mail on behalf of a friend. On this same occasion, I found one stop's very reasonably priced lunch meal deal, and simply couldn't resist. I have since returned a number of times, and found the store to be kept very clean and very well stocked. This truly does offer a one stop shopping experience for most any small run, from snacks, to ready meals to ingredients to cook from scratch. Well worth a visit if you're in Fair Oak visiting.”

“Picked up pizzas for dinner and they were ready in 15 minutes. Just what I wanted. The pizzas went down very well with both of us. Large pepperoni and a large 'all the meats' aka a meatfeast were great. I would be very happy to have these again.”

“This is the closest grocery store to my flat and I was just going through the reviews and I don’t think it correct, every time I go there it’s been a good experience and if you are not local then I don’t think people understand that how many times a day the staff has to look out for the people who are trying to steal, happened couple of time when I have been in. I have always had great experience with most of the staff but some of them could be nicer though but understanding that they are always on a lookout and stressed, it’s fine!”

“I think we are very fortunate to have Co-op in the village. And it’s a good selection of food. So many times I managed to get things just before 10pm and they were open. I don’t understand one star ratings just because it was shut early. It was, obviously for a reason. If it wasn’t for Co-op, I would be having to drive to Winchester to get what I need, in the evening. C’mon, let’s be realistic.”

“This is my local convenience store. A year or so ago it was closing early a lot but I've not had that problem recently and I've been there after 9pm a few times recently including on Sunday night. Member prices on milk, bread etc are competitive with the big supermarkets. I mainly use the self checkout. I use the Post Office to send or collect parcels and it has a separate queue. Staff are friendly and helpful. Sadly - not the Coop's fault - people with more limited mobility who don't drive and live on the other side of Leigh Road are cut off from accessing the store and post office because it's a dangerous road to cross, with no crossing points. Five years ago our councillor told me that there were plans for an island but we still don't have one.”
