“I met with my 3 bridesmaids to discuss all things wedding as i don’t live locally to them. From the moment we arrived we were treated wonderfully. With a wonderful atmosphere between the team and with us. As a restaurant attached to a hotel my expectation was low but we all came away smiling and feeling like we’d all been looked after ☺️”

“Food and breakfast are good and they have a lot of options for me. White and brown bread, jam croissants (not the best), scrambled eggs, eggs, all the other stuff of the traditional English breakfast. Shame that espresso it’s an extra but illy coffee so it’s very good”

“The Coffee Corner at Marwell Zoo is a cozy spot for a quick break during your visit. The seating area is comfortable, and it's a nice place to relax while taking in views of the zoo. Service is friendly, though it can get a bit busy during peak times. Overall, it's a convenient and pleasant stop for a refreshment during your zoo trip.”

“I always have chicken curry but I ask for it with the crispy chicken, been having it for over 10 years, always tasty, always a great service. Other favourites are satay chicken, smoked shredded chicken and the spicy salted chips. Sometimes the wait is a little longer than usual because of how busy they get, especially weekends, but always worth waiting for.”

“This is right in the centre of Winchester. Though it doesn't have parking of its own for shoppers, there are parkings nearby where you can go and park for a fee. You can get all your groceries here and most things. It's comfortable to shop here actually”

“Recently moved to this area and I have visited this Tesco express on numerous occasions and on each occasion I am greeted with a warm hello good morning can I help you? I use a mobility scooter and they assist me through the store if necessary they thoughtfully come to my aid when I can’t reach an item I wish to buy and when at the till they are patient to take my items and I don’t feel rushed I don’t recognise the other reviews. Certainly not what I experienced. It is a pleasure to shop there. The staff are exceptional and whilst shopping, I overhear them speaking to other shoppers and they’re being treated equally the same as myself thank you Tesco express”

“A lovely little shop with many surprises. The entrance is to the rear of the building. When you enter the shop you are greeted with hand sanitizer and a gated entrance. This shop has everything you need for a convenient top up shop or a quick bite to eat. There is a customer service counter, manned tills and self serve tills. This shop also has a Costa machine which serves seasonal drinks as well.”

“The food was delicious and arrived super quickly. The delivery driver was extremely polite and so pleasant to talk to. Definitely one of the best places for delivery in Winchester and one of the most courteous and friendly drivers. Would recommend to anyone”

“Great find with a road running parallel with the High Street. We had a starter (that was a main) that we shared - tenderlion beef with steam rice. It was lovely with oriental spices. for main we had a noodle dish each. i had the staple dish - beef ho fun. very tasty, but not as crispyi would like (less wok hei). Partner had Singapore ho fun (which is normally vermincelli noodles, but they were kind enough to swap ingredients for her). very tasty, filled with shredded meats and whole prawns. would highly recommend.”

“Family dinner. The chef/manager looked very stressed, as did the one and only server. BUT what a job they did! The food was incredible! The service was amazing considering how short staffed they were. The chef/manager even gave my wife some chop sticks, holders and glasses to take home. Thank you guys, we had a lovely evening”

“After reading some of the reviews I was hesitant to continue with my reservation, After deciding to make up my own mind we arrived for our 1 night spa experience. The location is nice with a well presented building and lots of parking. Our experience started well. We had a massage booked in for 10am and arrived in plenty of time. Reception guided us to the spa reception and we were welcomed with smiles and helpful staff. Things got a little shaky when we were laying down for our massage waiting when we were informed our "therapist" has been involved in a car accident and if we wouldn't mind to rearrange our treatment for later in the day, while disappointed due to us having arrived early specifically for that allocated time slot we were given a new time slot of 5 pm ,this allowed us to enjoy the facilities through the whole day while our room became available (3pm check in ) The spa despite reviews to the contrary was well kept, clean and all facilities were open. While it's not a brand new spa (others clearly want new whever they go) it was sufficient for our needs..I would suggest to the team at the hotel to get more loungers around the pool. ( A jacuzzi would be very welcomed by your guests) We were miss informed about lunch time facilities ( we were told only afternoon tea available, but that was just for the Winchester restaurant on site and not the gallery bar, staff could have informed us that the other bar served light lunches as we ended up in the local garden centre for lunch which was very nice btw. (Hotel lost out on our business for lunch) The afternoon check in was efficient and our room was lovely,Clean and stylish. Bathroom nice and clean with an elegant decor. Unfortunately the bed wasn't to my preference but everybody is different. We got our massage at the new time and was exactly what we needed. The "therapist's" did a great job and exceeded our expectations , well done ( not many can actually deliver a firm massage and get the knots out of my back). The food was lovely (evening meal and breakfast), The staff were friendly and attentive. So thank you to Botley park for a pleasant stay and well needed break.”
