“After a lovely two days in Bournemouth, we were heading back to the midlands on a 4.5 hour journey, but needed to eat so we could survive the loooong journey home. I read the reviews and we popped in for our dinner. So happy we did. It was just what we needed to give us the kick start. The food was delicious, fresh, tasty, great portions and very reasonable prices. My hubby and eldest had the buffet for £19:99 and me and my youngest had paneer tikka, chicken Peshawari. The chef was so kind he made us some special tea with spices to help us with our long journey. Staff were professional, helpful and attentive. I would highly recommend this lovely place. Thank you to the staff at Great Mogul you really helped make our journey home so much better.”

“We had a big group of 8 and they catered to us all really well and efficiently. Even went the extra distance to specify what vegan options were available as well as what may contain allergens. Everyone really enjoyed their food, the peshwari naan in particular was delicious. Overall it was top tier; would definitely go back again and recommend it to everyone.”

“Food that I ordered every time from here is amazing! The kebab! Arrrrrgh! So good! Seriously this is the best kebab I have ever had. It's not oily, the salad was fresh and the meat was cooked to perfection. Would 100% recommend. The lunch time kebab meat and chips is the best meal i ever had. Their pizzas are also better than all of the big brands with loads more topping and at a low price. Try this place and I gaurantee you will go back. “I was passing this take away last 25 years but never tried the food. Last sunday i went with my wife and daughter to get something for Dinner. The food was so nice not too oily and owner and the staff very very polite and friendly . Definitely we will go again .”

“What a place. I'm quite often disappointed by takeaways but sometimes needs must and Aamnah's certainly changed my opinion. I have used this place twice now and on both occasions the food has been fabulous. Their kitchen offers 'different' dishes to other takeaways and if you collect you get to see the chefs cooking. Fascinating and mouthwatering.”

“One of the better Chinese take outs in the area. Always busy on a weekend which is a good guide to the quality of the food. We opt to collect as delivery times are often quite long due to demand. Take out however is typically 30 minutes from order. We have found their predictions are normally spot on. The rice tastes nice and fresh, both egg fried and boiled. The chicken is always nice and soft with a decent amount of chicken in each dish. Similar with the beef. The duck in orange sauce is also a good shout.”

“Have ordered a few takeaways from Tarka Express on recommendation from a friend and it has never disappointed. Had family over for dinner last night and we all thoroughly enjoyed our food. Unlike many indian takeaways, the lamb here is so tender, not chewy at all -just delicious. Good value for money and some different dishes on the menu also. Delivery can take a while when busy, but honestly worth the wait. My only thoughts were spending over £80, it would have been nice to have recieved a complimentary side dish or something. Other than that it was top marks from us!”

“This restaurant is now under new ownership with beautiful new décor, and it was honestly the best Chinese food I’ve ever had! The chef personally came out, and when we asked if he could prepare a dish that wasn’t even on the menu, he was more than happy to do so. “We, as a family, love Prezzo and when on holiday in the New Forest we always visit this Prezzo. Why? Because apart from the food always being superb it is the service that adds to the experience. We have to therefore make a shout out to Lucia who was absolutely amazing. More so because we ate outside with 4 small dogs and a large dog who where on the whole well behaved but at times noisy. Add a two year old child then always a difficult task for anyone. Lucia took all this in stride was absolutely amazing around the dogs, who where excitable, and deserves all the thanks in the world. Looking forward to next year's visit.”

“Lovely pub very friendly staff. We booked a table and then asked if we could stay in their car park over night in our camper which they said was fine as we had booked a table. Food very good, we ordered , a couple of acholoic drinks, a grazing board and then a main each but we had far too much food. They have an amazing ice cream parlour but could manage this time, Reasonably priced would visit again.”

“We needed a cold drink and a sit down during our visit to Romsey. The Phoenix stood centre stage on the high street. Not very alluring from the outside but just what we needed on the inside. A lovely chatty young lady served us a pint of ale and a lime and soda for a really good price compared to other establishments in the south of England. She chatted whilst she poured the drinks too which also makes a difference to me. Relatively quiet we found a table away from the bar and settled down. A typical old fashioned pub, nothing special, wooden floors, basic tables and chairs, 80s music playing in the background, quirky wall paper, nothing special but it had something, it had the ability to talk to your companion, it felt comfortable, not quite sure what it was but it definitely had something, maybe just the ambiance, who knows. If we were in Romsey again we would definitely pass through its doors again.”

As an American visiting the UK for the 4th time I was used to my fiancé getting us Chinese at a different place, but it was closed for their holiday. So I don't have alot to compare to as Chinese is a bit different in the US. The other place my fiancé goes I do like a little better. But this place was still good. The atmosphere is hard to rate as it is not an eat in place. But it is very stark and sterile on the inside. Not much decoration or color.”
