“Great prices, great selection. However I'm now stuck in Phil's fridge and I can't get out. I don't think Carma ever took her chocolate milkshake back as I believe this is what is stalking me. Found some elf bars (hopefully these should sustain me) and a goblin called Dr Mystery, any idea who he is?”
“Nice place, good food and verry clean shop.”
“The only petrol station that sold super diesel close to me.”
“It's a convenience store that supplies everything, not just booze. The name of the store is really misleading actually its a tardis sized shop which is open til late groceries, batteries, lightbulbs, anything you need.”
“Amazing quality food, mainly specialised in different types of Naan. Brilliant value for money. Good customer service. Parking may be a little difficult, but not impossible. Highly recommend them.”
“Open late good selection of food and drink.”
“Open later than the big Supermarkets on a Sunday and yet still has good product availability and even fresh bakery products throughout the day.”
“Very friendly, polite, that's all the staff regardless of who is on.”
“Very kind staff and very good quality products on cheap price”
“Lovely gentleman choose all my ecigarettes 5 for £20 crystal bars elf bars and lost mary gold really good value for money excellent service xx”
“This store deserved more praise. And it's ONLY the lovely and dedicated staff who make each visit a lovely one. I prefer to go here than the superstore, purely because of the outstanding service new roar Tesco. Please look after your staff and stop using them to the limit. Give them the wages they deserve. Stop using hard working people. To name a few that I know are Julia, Ryan, Cheryl, Emma, Sarah along with the other girls I'm not familiar with their names...sorry.”
“I thought it only fair to update this review after my wife bought a couple of bacon baps for us this morning. It's several months since our last visit. What a difference! The baps were large, soft and delicious. They were appropriately buttered. The bacon was of the highest quality, plentiful and perfectly cooked. The best I've ever had. While I was eating, seated on a bench in the square, a passer-by looked down at the exposed interior and said "very generous", referring to the amount of bacon. I could only agree. I bet the astronauts on the ISS were nodding in agreement too. It feels so good to write a review like this: from appalling to world class in one jump. CONGRATULATIONS CHATWINS! A great result. Long may it continue. .............................................. Original review: Bought a bacon bap, late afternoon. The bacon must have spent the whole day in a heated tray. It was hard as glass. Went back the following morning to complain and buy two more with the bacon straight out of the oven. These were excellent and we were given a refund. A bit shocked that they would sell something that was SO bad. I wouldn't have given the first one to a dog. Chatwins, please get your act together.”
“Lovely, friendly staff always willing to help me. I'm 4'.10" so frequently need items reaching down. Pity the co op (and other stores) can't shut early on christmas eve, or even be closed all day and boxing day, it isn't fair on the staff, they have families as well.”
“This is the only supermarket within 8 miles, so definitely a 5*. There is a large selection from fresh veg to homeware, deli, fresh bakery and a decent “free from” section. It’s not the cheapest but there can be some really good special offers if you look around. One other thing I like is that they stock local producers foods, like the range of Pimhill oats and the handmade cakes. The staff I’ve met are all very friendly and happy to help. With the co-op you would never have to leave Wem. However, when I do my big shops I will go into the big town.”
“Convenient without having to pay more than supermarket prices. Plenty of parking apart from school pick up times. Could do with a few more essential products but it's limited because of the size. Friendly staff.”
“My day has been eventful to say the least, Time was running out to collect my order so I called the Longton tesco extra letting them know I was delayed. Upon arrival the click and collect system was being a bit intermittent. I went inside and a young lady named Nicole came to my rescue, she was very helpful and went above and beyond to help me back on track. Nicole had to go into the store to replace shower gel that had burst in the collection baskets. She was very polite, and well mannered as well as having very good confidence with her customer relations service. I don't know what tesco do with their staff appraisals but she needs an employee of the month award. Thank you Nicole.....”
“Just great. A compact version of the big stores, with most of their product lines, but no petrol station. Nice sized car park.”
