“Ordered our sofas from this store and we had the great pleasure of being served by James. James was absolutely incredible & his knowledge of every range, what the sofas are made out of and the aftercare is commendable. James was super patient with us (we were in the store for nearly 5 hours) he drew designs & our living room layout on his iPad to really help us visualise what the sofas would look like. James also has an incredible ability of mental maths so really helped us to understand how the sofas would fit & how much room we’d have either side etc. He also wasn’t afraid to say his opinion about weather he thought the sizing would look right (as we were thinking about a bigger sofa) - it’s a good job we listened to James as his expertise was right and a bigger one wouldn’t have fitted right. He also explained how in his spare time he researches ‘what’s on trend’ which actually have us the great idea of using our footstool (from the Oscar range) as a display table too. James is really passionate about what he does & made our experience so much easier! We now have two lovely sofas & a footstool from the Oscar range that fits perfectly into our living room and we’re very pleased! A huge thank you- James”

“We used ktf 6 years ago for a new kitchen and they did a fabulous job. We have since moved house and wanted a bar building , we had a few ideas of what we wanted and booked an appointment . We met with Chris and discussed our ideas and showed him the space . Chris was brilliant , he suggested lots of materials that would work well with our existing furniture and fittings and how to make the most of the space . Throughout the whole process ktf communicated with us to keep updated on time scales , costs , fitting dates etc We asked for Tony and Adam to do the fitting as they did such a wonderful Job of our kitchen . Once again they did a wonderful job with the bar , always very clean and tidy and respectful of our home . “phone this morning for gravel and membrane and spoke to ian who suggested i by in bulk instead of bags which was a big saving and the best membrane to by. delivery was about 3hrs from my call by Danian and after a bit of manuvering dropped the gravel within inches of the job saving me having to shift 1 ton of gravel.ThanksTony Neal”

“Popped into Penkhull Hardware & Joinery the other day looking for a bolt, didn’t think much of it, just one of those quick jobs. They didn’t have the exact size I needed in stock, but instead of just sending me on my way, he grabbed a longer bolt and cut it down to size for me there and then, after a few attempts we got the size we needed. Honestly, that sort of service is rare these days. It’s a proper old school DIY shop, the kind you don’t see much of anymore. Helpful, friendly, and actually wants to help you get the job done rather than just sell you something off the shelf. Shame there aren’t more little independent places like this about. Will definitely be back.”
