“I go to this convenience store for dropping off my Yodel parcels and it is the only place in Alsager that sells Crabbies ginger beer!! The staff are all very friendly too. You can get lots of snacks and it is great if you need to grab a few items like milk, bread or cheese. You pay for the convenience of this little shop. It has a huge range of bottled and cans of beer & cider and lots of wines from around the world. I highly recommend it.”

“The Cheese Shop in Nantwich is a superb shop with a great selection of fine cheeses. I was pleased to see they have Tallegio which is highly recommended if you haven't tried it. The staff are superb and a lot of fun, and more than happy to let you sample any cheese you might be considering. A really fab shop and well worth a visit.”

“Staying in a hotel in Hanley for work. Had a walk to this place on my own a couple of nights. Good selection of craft beers to choose from, on draft and in chilled cans. There were also cask and draft cider options. When I visited there were 7 craft beers available including pilsner, IPA, sour and stout. Good selection of music on too, punk, grunge rock. Patrons and staff were friendly and welcoming, the venue is has a calm relaxed atmosphere. Come and support this local business!”

Plenty of large table, great for group nights out or a quick bite to eat and a few drinks before visiting the lyceum theatre next door”

“Good range of wines at a good price with excellent service. They do wine tasting and can advise on what you might like. They even colour code the shelves to help you. Beer range is not what it was in terms of price or choice. They have a wide range of gin too. Plenty of parking and they helped us carry to the car.”

Most importantly a really helpful, friendly chap with a brilliant knowledge of the booze. “The staff here are great. I normally use the click and collect and they always carry the order to the car. I sometimes pick up some beers or other offers I see while I'm in there too. Nothing is ever a problem.”

They even checked several cash and carries to try and find the alcohol that I required and kept me updated each day when they were unable to source it.
