I read the reviews on each dentist and awaited my call from 111. Panic set in when I found out where I was going...what do I expect??? Well, let me tell you The receptionist was lovely and easy to talk to The dental nurse was perfect Dr Gupta was BRILLIANT Yes I had a friend with me, but all of the team kept me feeling safe and calm Would recommend this surgery to anyone paying privately or via the NHS Thank you”

Hence, the main Cardiff branch, have a lady which is so rude and make you feel not welcome! Obviously, they may have more tourists and don't have to work so hard. Bearing in mind I am 66 years old, it was a decision I didn’t take lightly due to the cost. I had my veneers fitted yesterday and was overcome with the results and wish I’d had it done years ago. I now have a smile that I’m not afraid to show now. My dentist Mr Joao Rodrigues and the dental nurse were brilliant through the whole process and kept me very informed at every step. I would recommend this dentist and the treatment to anyone.”

Had a warm welcome from the ward staff. They got me settled in quickly and went through all the paperwork. Everyone I met during the day that handled my operation and care were great. Thanks to Mr Gregory Taylor for sorting out the hernia. Thanks to all involved!”

“Fantastic service and staff. Was in for a major combined surgical procedure. Consultant Brendan O'Riordan was absolutely brilliant and took all the time to explain the procedure both prior and post op. Is also clearly very good at his job as post op pain was kept to a minimum and I was able to leave the hospital after an overnight stay. Anesthesia staff were amazing, and even had music playing when getting ready to anaesthetise me, which I personally thought was a great touch and out of the norm. They even had the decency to check if I was OK with them playing it. Nursing/aftercare staff were all great as well. Really looked after everyone in the Merlin ward. All staff very friendly and understanding. Service overall was on a par with private health care where I've had other previous procedure experiences. It's only the waiting lists that make the difference. 10/10 all round. Chwarae teg.”
