“Found this cafe by mistake as we took a shortcut to the carpark. Their ham and cheese toasties are exceptional. My friend had their soup which she said was delicious. Before we leave my friend always ends up getting a muffin to take home. There is like an honesty box that you can put in whatever you want. When given a tip it was put into the honesty box. The staff are so friendly. Would not go anywhere else when we go there.”

Albeit a limited menu (vegan options) the quality, price and the service, WAY surpassed expectations. The coffee exemplary. Also a nuanced range of gifts, cards and miscellanea. “Had a weekend away in the Peak District and was visiting nearby towns. Came across this lovely little cafe in a small town not to far from where we were staying (Whaley bridge). We ordered the egg and avacado toast which was yummy!! The hot chocolate was really rich and just perfect. What attracted me to this cafe was the mostly vegetarian menu. The cafe was also a walking distance from Millennium walkway is another great place to visit!”

“My favourite cafe in Edinburgh! A perfect spot to sit to work or relax with a cake and coffee. Krem Karamel Cafe & More is a brilliant spot to stop by, especially if you're visiting the Royal Botanical Garden. It is a bit on the pricier side but the cakes are amazing and the atmosphere is so cute. It has lots of windows inside which brights the place up and they have lovely menu options along with a plethora of cakes to decide from. Its always hard to pick! They have very cute items for sale too at the back of the shop and at the front they have a little box of creations (earrings and pins) made by a young girl in Istanbul. I love seeing the cafe support a young independant creator, her work is so lovely and was excited to not only bring home a cute set of earrings but also to be able to help her jewelry making endeavors. Her Instagram is pera.craft. The cafe also seem to sell their cakes (if I am not mistaken) to other cafes around Edinburgh- so surely they are one of the best! So if you are looking for the perfect place to stop for a slice of cake and great atmosphere, definitely make the walk to Krem Karamel Cafe & More. (A beautiful walk from city center as well, and you can also take some of the trails around Edinburgh from other spots to find yourself there as well!) Also the bathroom was very clean and large. A good place to spot for a coffee and use the restroom if walking through the city.”

“My partner and I done an inlay ring workshop with Sarah, we had a brilliant day and both left with a beautiful ring. Sarah is such a beautiful person and a great instructor, she made the workshop fun and enjoyable. The facilities are very comfortable with refreshment throughout the day and a tasty lunch at the bar/restaurant next door. Inca (my partner) is already hinting to book another workshop at the glamorous owl.”
