“A true diamond in the rough! 1st time I walked in here I didn't expect a lot but it is now the only cafe I will use. Its a lot bigger inside than it looks and the staff here are wonderful. So welcoming and friendly. The food is out of this world. Ive never even had a burnt corner of toast, everything is always cooked perfectly. My only negative is that it is pretty cold inside, though this will be a blessing in the summer. You won't be sorry for coming here I promise!”

“What can I say, as a Northfield boy I grew up with the clock cafe on my doorstep. Recently visited since I moved to Wales 5 years ago. Every time I have been it has been amazing. Sense of a homely feeling, being welcomed and made to feel like you are the only customer there is amazing. Food was perfect and cheap prices!! Staff are amazing”

Had another breakfast today, they couldn't be more welcoming, I've know more poss establishments not give as good a service. Two people offered to wipe the table which wasn't even dirty. Brilliant café. Consistently good. Even came around giving out free cakes one busy day. No complaints.”

“What a great little find. We found this place after a brisk stroll in the park and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Friendly service, great atmosphere, yummy coffee and the best bit was that we had to wait 10 minutes for the scones to finish baking! Delicious!”

“Quick to be served and nothing is too much trouble. Food and drinks are delicious and don't take long to be served. Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere and all around really great place to sit and eat or grab a bite and go. “Best place to eat in our area, 3 generations are able to eat here and even my dad likes it (he's a retired 1/2 Hungarian chef, who likes 3 places in the whole of Barnsley) As a disabled single mother, I struggle finding places to eat that I feel comfortable in. But the staff here not only accommodate every odd request my toddler makes but helps me in and out of the cafe with my pushchair This cafe is disability friendly and they are always happy to help if they can”

“We stayed in a nearby hotel and decided to eat breakfast elsewhere and chose this Cafe. The service was excellent and the staff very friendly. We visited three times and each time we were greeted by the door and seated at a free table. Food was great and served within 10 minutes. Can highly recommend!”

“Popped in and sat outside on a lovely day basically in the park for a Thai tea latte, coffee and home made cake. We have been back several times. This last time we wanted to try the Thai dishes - my goodness what a treat. Fragrant and freshly made a truly delicious meal this time in the open and seated in the park”
