“Went to the gatehouse yesterday with the family for the first time since the reopening and I have to say it was an amazing experience. Me and the family got a mix of the new menu and the Christmas menu and it was amazing and cooked beautifully. The staff were welcoming and attentive so I was very pleased with the service we received. Definitely would recommend!!!!”

“Visited this venue with a group of friends for the first time, and we were all very impressed. This is a large, clean, and recently modernised pub. The food available is excellent quality and reasonably priced. The staff are very friendly and make everyone feel very welcome with their nothings-too-much trouble attitude. If you are over 60, I recommend you try their monday lunchtime seniors menu. Which is worth more than 5 stars for quality and value. Their pot of tea was just right, too. They also have cards and dominoes if you go with a friend and fancy a game. There is ample car parking available. This one is worth a try. I doubt you will be disappointed.”

“Adventureland Aldridge is a fantastic place for children to play and burn off energy. The play areas are clean, colourful, and well-designed, with plenty of space for kids of different ages to enjoy themselves safely. The staff are friendly, attentive, and make sure everything runs smoothly. There are good seating areas for parents, and the food and snacks are reasonably priced. It’s a fun, welcoming environment that keeps children entertained for hours. A great choice for a family day out.”

“This is a great little quaint spoons for you, travelled from N.I to see my missus and stopped in for a pint or two and i must say unbelievable bar staff who are so friendly and love a chat will definitely be back when in the vicinity, made me feel so welcome and had time for everyone. Great staff and even better establishment.”

“Me and my wife visited this pub after our regular pub wasn't serving food. Not only was the beer a lot cheaper than our regular pub the food that we ordered was very tasty. For the fans that like sports there are several large tv's dotted around the pub and there's always a selection of various music playing.”

You can’t go wrong with these choices. Costa’s Ice tea is a go to favourite for drinkers who favour more water based and refreshing beverages. However, their Easter especially mini egg cookies are on the sickly-sweet side but having them heated up definitely enhances the overall taste. Wonderful service, cosy atmosphere and tasty food. “Family meal with couples all travelling from different directions! Really impressed by the place - first impression was good as it felt warm and welcoming on arrival! The staff approached quickly and seated us at booked table. When everyone had arrived orders were given and drinks arrived promptly. We didn’t have to wait too long but weren’t in a rush as we caught up with news. The food was excellent, hot and tasty, staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Would definitely recommend!”

“Was pleasantly surprised at this little tearoom. Is a welcome addition to the area and the food, prices and service is remarkable. The atmosphere was wonderful and the young lady Emily was brilliant. While it was quiet in the cafe, she made us feel very welcome and we will definitely return. I can highly recommend a visit, great prices and great food. You can even take away a Sunday lunch!”

“I came here at lunch time for a coffee and a cake, the service was fast, professional and at the right price for Wolverhampton. Being in the middle of the centre the atmosphere was a bit noisy as expected but it is warm and has natural light like you are sat outside. The staff are friendly and helpful. I’ll definitely be coming back here.”

“Amazing pub, food was delicious! Perfect amount to fill you up, staff are very friendly and talkative. Kids really enjoyed them selves out in the garden with the bouncy castle and park! Kids meals were massive and very nice! Didn’t leave a thing! Also reasonably priced! Will definitely be coming back again! “Jen was absolutely amazing, we were at a loose end on New Year’s Eve and really needed somewhere to take our toddler. The play area was full but she managed to squeeze us in for a little play. We come here most sundays too after swimming and will definitely continue. Restaurant area is also brilliant for food and very child friendly”

“First time visit and extremely happy with the service and quality of the food, the location is in such a peaceful area next to a beautiful lake very picturesque, see pictures, A meal for 3 with our 2 dogs who were also made welcome very welcome (most definitely animal lovers here) The food was so tasty, well cooked and fulfilled all of our requirements, One being vegan so very happy with the quality of the food, the presentation and the taste, Cooked to perfection she said, I had the Mexican flaming challenge and the burgers were so juicy not burnt as I've had elsewhere, well cooked and tasted beautiful so wished I'd taken a picture, the 3rd meal was also cooked perfect and no complaints at all, Very much value for money, The staff were very helpful, friendly and polite especially in times like these during the Pandemic, All professional we felt very safe, Would highly recommend a visit to this hidden gem, We most definitely will be returning, Thank you very much. 2nd Visit was even better Fantastic food yet again and such great value, I cant wait to visit again”
