I had pre-booked a table for myself and 12 guests, and upon arrival, our table was already beautifully set and perfectly allocated—an immediate sign of the team’s attentiveness and organization. The manager deserves special recognition. He was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and exceptionally helpful throughout the evening. His professionalism and warm hospitality made all of us feel genuinely valued and well taken care of. The efficiency of the service was equally impressive. Our food arrived within just 15 minutes of ordering, and every dish was served hot, fresh, and beautifully presented. “AWESOME PLACE! We had a fantastic experience at The Waterfront Hungry Horse! The food arrived hot, sizzling, and absolutely delicious, full of flavour and clearly cooked with care. The staff were brilliant from start to finish, especially Dee, who was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. The atmosphere was warm and cosy, with plenty of comfortable seating and a great layout that makes it easy to relax and enjoy your meal. It’s the kind of place that instantly makes you feel at home. “I was craving some Chinese food, so I found this place 4 minutes from my house, I had king prawn chow mien and king prawn in chilli and garlic sauce. The food was delicious! Good service, parking space within the premises and contactless payment is accepted, which was a big deal for me!”

“Been visiting and ordering from here for about 12 months now. Kebabs and Burgers are consistently good, the pizzas are amazing. A good value selection of set menus. Service is quick both in the shop and when ordered online. The only negative I have is the fries, they rarely seem hot”

“What a restaurant! If your in the area and appreciate amazing food look no further! We Started with Fresh poppadoms with very tasty Dips and onion salad whilst pondering over a lovely menu which is a Set 2 courses priced at £35 including rice or Naan. For Starters we chose, Vegtable Pakora, Paneer Tikka and Masala Fish, perfectly presented with amazing flavours. Then for mains the Chef asked me if I’d fancy trying something slightly different from the menu as he had been slow cooking some lamb shanks in spices for a few hours. How could I resist? And what great decision it was ! My son went for the ‘Bilash Super’ , My wife chose Aloo Gobi Masala and we shared Saffron rice and delicious Garlic naans. The food was mind blowing! All washed down with a few Cobras and a bottle of wine we Finished off with a very refreshing Cheesecake accompanied with fresh fruit and mango sauce. Just Perfect ! Overall the whole experience was amazing and we can’t wait to return. Thanks to Mo and the Bilash team, see you soon!”

“There is always a very warm welcome when I go here. They don't do food but allowed us to go to chippy across road and bring food back in with us which we all appreciate when we go and see Karl Memphis there. Tina her staff and regulars make this pub I to wonder place to be at”

“Went to the gatehouse yesterday with the family for the first time since the reopening and I have to say it was an amazing experience. Me and the family got a mix of the new menu and the Christmas menu and it was amazing and cooked beautifully. The staff were welcoming and attentive so I was very pleased with the service we received. Definitely would recommend!!!!”

“Visited this venue with a group of friends for the first time, and we were all very impressed. This is a large, clean, and recently modernised pub. The food available is excellent quality and reasonably priced. The staff are very friendly and make everyone feel very welcome with their nothings-too-much trouble attitude. If you are over 60, I recommend you try their monday lunchtime seniors menu. Which is worth more than 5 stars for quality and value. Their pot of tea was just right, too. They also have cards and dominoes if you go with a friend and fancy a game. There is ample car parking available. This one is worth a try. I doubt you will be disappointed.”

“This is a great little quaint spoons for you, travelled from N.I to see my missus and stopped in for a pint or two and i must say unbelievable bar staff who are so friendly and love a chat will definitely be back when in the vicinity, made me feel so welcome and had time for everyone. The staff approached quickly and seated us at booked table. When everyone had arrived orders were given and drinks arrived promptly.
