“We have just been for our tea for 2, booked for 1pm . Beautiful, lovely array of sandwiches, sausage rolls, sausages in maple syrup, salad and crisps. Plus 2 pots of coffee, then there were the cakes, yum yum. We were so full we couldn't eat tea lol. Lovely food and lovely service. Thank you for a brilliant afternoon.”

“Love this place. It's now a community cafe with a revamped menu. Lots for vegans, vegetarians and non veggie meals. Also great coffee and cake, plus takeaway. Well organised, screens in place, gel available, tables cleaned after use. You may have to wait for a table, but it's worth it.”

“Stopped in on a whim with my husband today for lunch…from the moment we crossed the doorstep we felt welcome at Lychgate. We ordered the parsnip soup with brown bread and tea for two. The soup was amazing; a hint of ginger and the perfect consistency. Bread was also delicious…from a bakery in nearby Rudge. We took ginger and sticky apple toffee cake slices home for later…so glad we did! If you’re looking for a lovely dining experience or just a beverage, somewhere off the beaten path, this is the place for you. Easy to park near it, too! Enjoy! We will be back soon!”

“I've been a few times already but yesterday we went and decided to order away from our usual go too (chilli paneer as a starter, chicken tikka masala and some egg fried rice) so can also report on the kebab platter for two palak paneer, the chicken tikka balti, and the lamb biryani... The food is made fresh, and is incredibly delicious. The menu is labelled well, and service has always been delightful and quick. Its a joy to eat in here, with the music being just loud enough for good vibes but easily able to hold a conversation, and the food is absolutely fantastic, even on the second round with heating up leftovers it retains it's freshness and taste Id really recommend Dilraj to anyone looking to have a curry and dine in, and I think they also do take aways too if you collect”

“What a great Venue. I visited here as a direct recommendation someone who had posted on line called Karen Jones who shared details about the friendliness of the venue, and that alone was enough to draw me in, but then i tried the food and was blown away. Doing the basics, really well is what it’s all about for me, with the use of High Quality, delicious ingredients. Such a great Vibe, with people and pets, children and adults being welcome. It’s great to see a venue function so well, with a great inviting atmosphere, non pretentious. So many venues these days make too many adjustments for the random occasional immunocompromised that places lose what it is to be a venue of great food, great company and great memories. I’ve found my new favorite place”

“This cafe is unique, and hidden away overlooking a large lake. I visited on a rainy day and had a lovely brunch. I can imagine during the summer months given its setting it would be even nicer to visit and sit outside. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. I ordered a pot of tea and a small breakfast (see photo). All delicious! The cakes on display looked beautiful but I resisted temptation as I was full from my breakfast. 5 stars!”

“I went to Boundary Mill Retail Store Walsall West Midlands on Friday 7th February 2025 to look for boots at Pavers Shoes. I had a great deal of help from Steph a member of staff.She was very kind, patient and very helpful. I was able purchase the boots I wanted instead of looking and wasting time. I was very happy with my purchase and managed to get the boots I wanted. Thanks”

“I went to cotton traders today at garden land shipley to find a new coat to go away in in march .and some comfy jeans .i would like to thank the lady who helped me as im.a nightmare for clothes shopping i hate shopping .having already been to merry hill a week ago and had no luck .i came here and found what i wanted no problem as it does my head in clothes shopping .so thank you to the lady assistent who helped me when i needed it .”

“We popped in Thursday 11th September after seeing a video on TikTok and it did not disappoint. We got there around 12pm, right in the middle of the rush, but it didn’t affect the service at all. The staff were all smiles, really friendly, and our food came out quicker than expected considering how busy it was. The place had such a nice atmosphere lots of people chatting, laughing and just enjoying themselves. We also grabbed a few bits to take home for the family. We’ll definitely be back.”

“My girlfriend and I visited yesterday on the off chance that we could get a table. Fortunately the lady that was hosting was able to find us a very nice one in the window with a short waiting time; despite it being a busy Friday night and Valentine's Day so we were very happy with that. All staff were working very hard and were polite but Alex from behind the bar stood out in his service and how he looked after us for our time there. He gladly corrected a mistake that I had made when ordering a bottle of wine and dealt with it very swiftly and professionally. As one FOH staff member myself I would definitely say that he is a credit to not only Nando's but customer service and hospitality in general. We were very pleased with our visit and how attentative he in particular was with our needs, especially whilst having the patience listening to my awkward dessert order at a busy bar. Also on top of the excellent service the food was absolutely lovely and we both very much enjoyed it, we will definitely be looking forward to dining here again soon.”

“If ever you need flowers, go or ring Sharon, I rang last week, she answered the phone, but was busy, she had my number and called me back straight away. I explained what I wanted , she said leave it with. I collected the flowers on Saturday, and was just overwhelmed by them. The service is second to none and they were so reasonably priced. Cannot recommend this florists enough. Just fabulous. Thank You Sharon. Mollie loved the flowers”
