“I had a charity sports shirt printed here for the potters ‘arf marathon. I came in on very short notice and needed the shirt in less than a week. They were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The shirt turned out better than I ever thought it could and the price was great. “After being left hanging at Longton Argos who clearly just didn't want to help, we drove to Stoke Sainsburys Argos. A man named Chris spoke to us, gave us advice on how to get an online purchase, then attempted to order our item for us in store. He arranged for the item to be delivered to my house saving me the hassle of trying to do online stuff. Very grateful to him, I believe he went above and beyond! He certainly didnt reflect his Grumpy Elf tshirt! Longton staff, shame on you.”

“Went to the store yesterday with an issue and lady at the till was very polite and helpful she was breath of fresh air. The lady at the till had to go speak to the manager (Anna) with my case and the pair went extra mile and was very pleased with the service I received. Keep up the good work ladies and you are true asset to Argos. Its a shame I can not remember the ladies name at payment counter. Visited the store about 5pm if it helps.”

Both she and Lucy then assisted every step of the way and are so friendly, nothing was ever too much trouble. Our 3 oven Dual Control in White Tie was delivered today and we are thrilled! Fitters were friendly, careful, and tidy, you'd never know they'd been here. Our Aga is like brand new and we're so happy! Thank you all of the Range Exchange team, highly recommended company!”

“Really great plant-based food. Edit: Unfortunately, the owner has decided to start serving non-vegan items. This means we won't be visiting again as we can go to places like that much closer to home. I will leave my rating as is, because the food was good, and so was the service, but I would never go back due to his reaction to responses on social media - and then his ridiculous commentary in the tabloid press.”

“Amazing store with really helpful staff! My husband and I visited a few pram shops a couple months ago and as first time parents were overwhelmed with the choice and trying to figure out what was good value for money. In all the other pram shops we went to the staff were really unhelpful, didn't really know the answers to our questions and couldn't take us through a demo of the prams, we left with more questions! Well when we walked into premier baby we were greeted with a smile and the gent who runs the shop was so helpful without being pushy or patronising, he explained everything to us and took us through a few different options until we found the pram for us! This was a few months ago, we went back in yesterday to order it and he remembered us and exactly what we had been looking for. Can't recommend enough, don't get service this good very often anymore but the shop runner here really knows his stuff, is friendly and approachable but doesn't pressure you into anything. Will be returning for other baby items, thank you Premier baby!”

“Booked a table for 3 for lunch on Friday. Tim greeted us and made us feel so welcome. Nothing was too much trouble from start to finish. He even took photos for us. The food was delicious and the service was great as always. It's such a lovely place to go and eat and then finish with a walk around the shop or the garden centre or both. Just love Jackson's Nursery.”

“I think since we moved here we are very impressed with the range and prices I have read a review that had me in stitches a lady saying staff were hitting her and told her to get out because she took a paper down I can not see any shop attacking a customer I'm sure if this did happen there would be police and witnesses... laughable...staff are lovely friendly and helpful not many places left where you find staff smiling and being helpful”

“Came here for lunch and had delicious food. I had a regular size (which was a decent size) pizza Arriba, which was delicious! The dough is fantastic, I like a doughy pizza and this one delivered on that. The toppings were really generous, too. I did ask to change the chorizo to nduja, which was kindly done for me, although after ordering and paying, I was then told there were no peppers available. Not a biggie, but I think it's fair to be told things like that before paying. My wife went for the Mancini pasta, which she said was also delicious. Especially the mushrooms in the dish. I tried one and agreed that the flavours were incredible. They taken on the flavours of the chorizo and were just so moreish! She said it was only warm, though, and could have done with being a bit hotter. The drinks we ordered they didn't have in stock, and I got the impression they maybe don't stock what's on the menu as they had other beers (although they didn't have it available to buy, just had one on display) and wines that weren't on the menu, which again isn't a biggie, but a little strange. The staff were friendly. We paid just over 32.50 for the pizza, pasta, glass of wine, and a beer, which we felt was fair, especially as the food was so nice. Overall, we enjoyed the food and would go back again.”

“I got married at Double Tree by the hilton in Chester on 2nd of December and I booked with The Added Extra for my wedding love letters & post box. The letters really did set off the cocktail reception and my evening reception party I absolutely loved them both with the theme I was going for. Price for the love letters wasn't as bad I thought so I was really happy with that. I spoke with Joanna from booking and everything ran smoothly and then Hannah handle the set up for me and I was completely at ease she emailed me that week on the run up to the wedding and everything was sorted I didn't have to chase this which was nice. I would highly recommend. Thanks again Added Extra for my lovely set up and I can't wait to see more photos of my photographer. Xx”

“I recently had a gun that I had purchased elsewhere, altered so that it fits correctly. John took time to ensure the stock measurements were perfect and then also oiled the stock to a perfect finish. The gun is now perfect. I also purchased a second gun from an online auction and John took delivery of it as my nominated firearms dealer. When it arrived we unwrapped the packaging together and both inspected the gun. He's now altering that stock too. John provides an excellent service, he's a craftsman and real gentleman. His pricing is very reasonable for the expertise and service he provides. I would offer 6 stars if google would let me!”
